BANGKOK: Skal International Bangkok's August lunch had a record turnout with guest speaker Mr Amolakh Calais, Regional Director of Hotel Solutions, Asia Pacific, TripAdvisor.

The Tripadvisor Executive presented a very current topic with an important message for all digital marketeers, covering travel and tourism related businesses, namely: “Leveraging user generated content to power your business.“ Mr. Calais talked about the impact of user generated content and online reviews, and the importance of online reputation management.

The networking lunch took place at the Compass SKYVIEW Hotel in Bangkok with General Manager and Skalleague Jacqui Cuthbertson providing the perfect venue and a sumptuous 3-course lunch. The club's regular monthly sponsors Paulaner and Tzar Caviar once again very generously supported this event along with CoffeeWORKS.

several Food and Beverage and Hotel Operators are becoming day by day careless of tripadvisor.

its to easy to fake a review its to easy to bring a place to the stars or killed it, there are several agencies all around the world that offer cheap fake review you may get more then 50 reviews for a 1$ each, in vietnam small chain hotel operators and restaurant are asking their employees to make review on TA, its simply a much non reliable source of information on where to sleep or what to eat.

tripadvisor stand very much less valuable then lonely planet, its losing end platform that its marking its end, as who write reviews on tripadvisors are by majority the one with limited intelligence development, anyone with a basic common sense will never use TA for a review.
