DACA was created to stop the deportation of illegal immigrants if they came here as a child before 2007. These illegal immigrants all who are now 20 years or older were given a special status. Why are they special? The fact is, they are illegal immigrants protected for political gain.

I give up.  You don't want to learn. You just want to spout the hate that you learn on Fox News and Breitbart.

And 45 is an avid fan of both those inaccurate outlets. Startling how hatred and bigotry influences so many people. They hate other b/c of their own personal feelings of inadequacy.  That's why so many luv 45 because he reeks of inadequacies.

I've read that since Trump is computer illiterate he can no longer access Breitbart since Kelly has stopped aides from giving Trump printouts from said site.

My be you should. learn something. From Berkeley University:

A poorly conceived law that protects only certain group of illegal immigrants.

What Is DACA?

Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) is a kind of administrative relief from deportation. The purpose of DACA is to protect eligible immigrant youth who came to the United States when they were children from deportation. DACA gives young undocumented immigrants: 1) protection from deportation, and 2) a work permit. The program expires after two years, subject to renewal.

What Are The Requirements For DACA?

  • You were under 31 years old as of June 15, 2012;
  • You first came to the United States before your 16th birthday;
  • You have lived continuously in the United States from June 15, 2007 until the present;
  • You were physically present in the United States on June 15, 2012 and at the time you apply;
  • You came to the United States without documents before June 15, 2012, or your lawful status expired as of June 15, 2012;
  • You are currently studying, or you graduated from high school or earned a certificate of completion of high school or GED, or have been honorably discharged from the Coast Guard or military (technical and trade school completion also qualifies); and
  • You have NOT been convicted of a felony, certain significant misdemeanors (including a single DUI), or three or more misdemeanors of any kind.

I have known the requirements since the program was first initiated. If you can find the information so easily, why is it that you continued to call them illegal when the language you cite clearly says that those enrolled in the program are legally in the US?

You are either as dense as a brick or are simply trolling.

They are legally in the United States. Period.

They have as much right to be in the US as you do, and they probably contribute a lot more to US society than you ever did or will.

What an absolutely ridiculous assertion to make.   But typical of the emotive nonsense one hears from defenders of the illegals.   Why should parents who abused their children by smuggling them into the U.S. illegally, thus subjecting them to an uncertain future, suddenly be off the hook with the U.S. responsible for taking up the slack and granting them citizenship.  This only serves to incentivize illegals to keep doing this with their kids!   The left is completely disingenuous (to keep it polite...) about the whole thing.  They pretend great humanitarian concern, but in truth, for them, illegal immigration is nothing but a handy recruiting gimmick for future voters.  The more the better, any way they can get here, and keep that ball rolling at all costs!

Better they let their children live in dire poverty and possibly starve to death.

This is going to be the final warning about referring to those in DACA as being illegal.   They are not illegal.   They are registered and they have permission to remain in the US provided certain conditions are met.

The assertion that their parents have abused them is also a fallacy.   Many of these children entered the US with parents who came in legally and overstayed the visa.

Illegal immigrants, by the way, can't vote.

Now, please stay on topic.

They were brought in as children. Their parents consciously broke the law. The children were innocent. Then the children grew up.

And so if their parents had robbed a bank in order to "improve their quality of life," the children would get to keep the loot their parents gave them, because the kids were innocent?

They are legally in the US, entitled to work, and to pursue educational opportunities. So yes, they have just as much right to be in the US as anyone else.

Parents abused their children by seeking a better life for them? By spiriting them away from war zones where their very lives were in extreme danger?

And your assertion that the US will  grant them citizenship is simply flat out wrong - there is NO path to citizenship for DACA participants.

Now that it appears that Trump will terminate DACA, Congress will be forced to act on DREAMER instead of kicking the can down the road again and again.

Just heard a report that about 65 percent of Americans (the civilized ones) support letting DACA people stay. That means 35 percent don't. It's not rocket science to know that 35 percent represents trump's hard core xenophobic / white resentment focused base. trump's move is not about doing the right thing. It's only about holding on to his base.

They are illegal, they have no visa, no green card (work permit), and are not US citizens.
Even LOS requires one of these to stay here.
What's unreasonable about this?

I'm sure you'd be much more sympathetic if you did a little research on the hill tribe people ( and others ) in Thailand. They're exploited as cheap labor. The gf has a wealthy cousin who "married" a hill tribe girl. He could easily get her a Thai ID but isn't interested. Likes to have her under his thumb.

"Nearly a million hill peoples and forest dwellers are still treated as outsiders—criminals even, since most live in protected forests. Viewed as national security threats, hundreds of thousands of them are refused citizenship although many are natives to the land".[8]

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hill_tribe_(Thailand)

"Today, at least 10 million people around the world are denied a nationality. As a result, they often aren’t allowed to go to school, see a doctor, get a job, open a bank account, buy a house or even get married."
