Iranian Strikes Damage US Warplanes at Jordan Base

A-10 And F-15 Damage Levels

The sources said an A-10 Thunderbolt, also known as the Warthog, was hit and lost a wing.

They also reported that around eight F-15 aircraft suffered light damage and were put back into service, according to the same people briefed on the damage.

No US deaths were reported as a result of the strikes on Jordan, the report added.

Background To The Overnight Attacks

The damage at the Jordan base followed an announcement by the United States on Tuesday that it had attacked five Iranian tankers. The US said the action was retaliation for Iran targeting a US Navy warship.

In response, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said it launched attacks on eight tankers and two warships, and it said those included the base in Jordan.

Patriot Missile Defence

The CBS report said US forces in Jordan launched more than 30 Patriot missiles to defend against the Iranian strikes.

It also noted that CBS News previously reported US officials were concerned about a rapidly declining stockpile of Patriot missiles, alongside other types of precision munitions.

Trump Comments On Iran And The US Midterms

Separately, President Donald Trump told reporters on Wednesday that he believes Iran is trying to influence the US midterm elections. He also suggested the conflict would end after the vote, saying Iran could not sustain the situation until then.

Trump added that he was not looking to negotiate with Iran in the near term, prior to the midterms, despite saying at one point he wanted to reach a deal.

This is obviously fake news as all Iran's offensive capabilities have been destroyed completely several times in the last few weeks and America controls the region absolutely and completely.

I don't know what everyone is worried about Donald has said after the midterm this will all just magically disappear.

Plus if you are good and keep republicans in house and Senate everyone will get $5000 woo hoo no reason to disbelief after all the previous 3 or 4 cheque promises were kept 🤔 doge savings tarrif rebates ect ect probably around another 5-7000 cheque is in the post we all know Donald never lies

Iran may be saying since China is restricting Rare Earths needed for Military Weapons to the US, Iran can survive. There is a huge back log on a lot of the Military Weapons needed to continue protecting US Military assets in the Persian Gulf region.

The US is being very strategic with the use of the remaining supply of missiles because even with investments in expanding rare earth mining and processing, expanding production lines for missiles it will be 2 years before they are available to add capacity.

But but we won this war. We can leave now. We achieved change of leadership, destroyed all their military and nuclear capabilities. Renamed the strait of Hormuz. We became the most respected country in the world. Oil prices at an all time low. VICTORY for us

Another unmanned high technology surveillance submarine has been taken in by the IRGC. Some reports of IRGC struck US destroyers USS Delbert D.Black and other destroyers. Casualties have risen. Of course Centcom denying all that. Thought US has destroyed their navy and air capabilities. With main logistic base destroyed in Qatar, supplies have to be flown in from Deigo Garcia base. Not going well for US force in the middle-east.

It appears so.

The principle lesson is that opposing countries are far more willing to take punishment than the USA ever will be.

In Vietnam the north was prepared to accept horrendous losses and fully prepared for the civilian population to suffer. America just couldn’t fathom why the north wouldn’t give up.

In Afghanistan, the same. The Taliban can withstand almost total devastation and still come back, with no regard for civilian losses.

And at a tangent, even in Ukraine. Russia is prevailing because they are prepared to accept losses that no western power would be willing to accept.

Know your enemy. Iran isn’t going to give in to save its populace deprivation and suffering. And whatever war capability is destroyed, they will make more. They will throw stones if they have to.

They hate America. A simple read of history to just before the time of the last Shah, shows why. And every single time America intervenes to “make things right” they end up making it worse.

To be fair, I personally believe BIbi is behind this latest debacle. He convinced Trump that there was an easy win to be had and Trump took the bait. I don’t really see Trump as a war mongering man per se, unless there is a quick win on offer that would make him look good.

But anyway, if you want to dominate the globe as appears to be Americas intent, you gotta expect to lose a few airplanes here and there, deplete your weapons stockpiles and earn the distrust of allies and enemies alike.
