Prostitute Offers Sex Wages For Charity

Prostitute offers sex wages for charity

A high-class Chilean prostitute touched by a charity telethon's bid to raise money for handicapped children has stepped forward with her own contribution: 27 hours of sex.

That's how much paid sex work the escort, Maria Carolina, has said she wants to contribute to the Teleton association.

The A$6000 she earns from the marathon session, scheduled for November 30 to December 1, will go to the charity, Carolina said, explaining she earns $333 per 90-minute session.

She said she would post a picture of the bank deposit slip on her website afterwards to dispel any doubts.

"I am going to contribute with my work to a purpose that touches me deeply," said the prostitute, who has spread her message through several online sites and television programs.

But the administrator of the Teleton foundation, television presenter Mario Kreutzberger, has thrown cold water on the proposition, saying it falls well outside his moral guidelines and he cannot accept it.

Carolina, though, said she was determined. "How can someone question a person who wants to put her job at the service of a noble cause?" she asked.

I vote we give up Crow Boy for medical experiments !!!!

Rather than charity, any profits we make should be put behind the bar !!!!

I am already a medical experiment "Igor, it's alive ITS ALIVE!!!"

I'll drink to that :o

getting back to the original post, does that mean the telethon will refuse to accept money from Polititians because they are also in the same business as Maria Carolina except at the very least she is honest about it?

well ssaid cb.

only diff is nobody "admits" to the latter, and nobody "accepts" the former.

I deeply and foreevr will recall the lesson I learned as a naive youngster living in LOS. The prostitutes in my town (whom, specifically because they were in my town I never went with, officialy) were, once they got to know me, the most honest people I'd ever met in the LOS.

And the coolest.

We need to be very careful with a discussion on prostitution in the forum because the rules still apply here, albeit in a much more relaxed fashion.

When I used to visit Thailand the best/cheapest/most fun places to stay were at the old Chinese hotels. They normally were two or three stories high and there was a place to sit and eat downstairs. They were cheap and cheerful. They also had girls who in those days were called "women looking for rice" ie money for food. They were of course prostitutes and most of them were really nice. We came off base in Chiang Mai and usually had 48 hours leave so would head straight into town where we would move into the hotel. Order food, drinks, and have a great time. The guys would bring in casette tapes (pre CD) of music and it was a full on party. Almost none of the girls spoke any English and quite a few only minimal Thai but it was ok. Over the road was a temple and the girls would make regular tambun there. At the back of the hotel were the kids and often they would come out to say hello and get some food with us. I cannot recall one of the guys ever being ripped off or hassled by them and the girls were honest and very nice to us. Without getting into a debate on the merits of prostitution, I will say that none of the girls wanted to be in the business but did so because it was the only way they had to make money to survive and support their family. They were honest in what they did and why, unlike most of their customers who denied ever using their services.

Getting back to the OP I think that to deny Maria the right to donate her money is the height of hypocracy. Whether she is doing it to raise attention and advertising her service or not is irrelevant. If she is doing it as a purely altruistic act that is not the point. The point is she is donating to a cause that needs every dollar it can get.

I cannot help but wonder how many other people from whatever profession would be willing to donate say a days wages/salary. Would you? Would I? It is the old idea of a tithe which is to give up one tenth of the annual produce or labour as a donation to the church.

You're missing a massive point CB.

You accept the cash, you vindicate the profession. You vindicate the profession, you remove the cause. You remove the cause, you void the purpose.

Sweeping generalisation, but reading "high class" leads one to presume she comes from a steady family background. If so, lets see her parents accept the cash first.

Could be and not for the first time :o

Ok I put up a reply to Insight's post but it gets too close to the issue of prostitution and that is against the rules. Instead I would like to get back to the original post and ask, should charities such as this one reject donations based on where the money comes from?

If I am a garbage collector and make my money from collecting other peoples refuse, is my donation worth the same as someone who is a doctor or a nurse?

If I am a soldier or police and have killed people in the course of my duties should I be rejected because my money was made at the expense of another person's life?

What about if I make my profession as a gangster or drug dealer am I to be rejected because I have a living which is illegal?

Do charities have the moral or legal obligation to reject money that is made illegally?

This woman is a prostitute which I think is illegal in Chile, is it right to also make her donation illegal also?

CB

i did a sponsored Parachute jump once. I went round the pub and got sponsorship and din't ask a single person what they did for a living, cos to me it didn't matter. I gladly took their money and moved onto the next victim kind person to sponsor me :D

I raised alot of money and Leukhemia research where glad of it. Guess what? They didn't ask me if i vetted all of the people who sponsored me. :o

Me and this Maria are much the same. She throws herself at men, i threw myself out of a plane :D

Slightly off topic but.

We had no money, so I had to send my mrs out to prostitute once.

She came back with £35.05p

I said who gave you the 5 pence

"All of them" she said.

The oldies are the best :D

The Roman Catholic church will happily take the money from where ever it comes from. :o

Excellent thread with some excellent replies.

Even the joke by bj! :0

In the UK you can donate to anybody as long as you don't use your own name.

What is the difference?

Maria makes her money in her way and donates it anonymously, Herr Kreutz whatshisname knows nothing, every body is happy and the poor people get fed or whatever.

Maria is honest and open about it, Obershturmbahnfuerer Kreutz thingummybob gets on his high horse, spits the dummy out and the poor people go without.

Who is the winner by that? It is easy to have high moral standards when you have money in your bank account. I have to admit that when one of these holy Joe's/Joan's starts this kind of stuff the he/she can shove their just cause where the sun don't shine. I know that doesn't help the needy either but I do have principles and if you don't like them I got others (thanks Groucho). :o
