im flying home to the uk with my baby,she was born in thailand, she has a thai passport[cheap!] but not a uk birth cert or passport yet[they are a rip off at uk embassy in bkk] does she need them to fly home or can she do them when back in the uk?

The cost of a UK passport for a child in UK is £45 + £8 (postage both ways to return documents) or £80 fast track or £93 premium. So B4425 in Bangkok is not such a rip off when you consider that a visit visa for UK for your child will cost you B3750 if she travels on her 'cheap' Thai passport. Edited by Mahout Angrit
