can anyone tell me the best place to get a new computer in chiang mai.

Loads of places in Pantip down the Night Bazaar road (opposite McDonald's and further south) and in the many computer malls just outside the northwest edge of the moat coming down Mani Noppharat road. IT City on the third floor of Central Shopping Mall (Khad Suan Kaew) on the road to Doi Suthep and the zoo is also worth a look, or if you're in the Airport Plaza there is also one of these, as well as the only Apple distributor in town just opposite, and a computer section top floor Robinsons

Don't bother with Tescos, Carrefour et al
