March 26, 200818 yr Hi, I have account with HSBC back home and my Visa C.C expired, now i want to get debit card (not credit card, as thai banks don't issue to forigners in most cases) that has 3 code for online shopping where money is directly debited from my related account? For example "BE 1st" debit visa card from bangkok bank, doesn't allow interent purchases, they don't even have 3 codes verifications. Any suggestions? Thank you
March 26, 200818 yr I use the BE 1st Bangkok bank Visa debit card now. I do some perching online with it. They gave 4 numbers under the bank card number and the last 3 of those numbers works as the secure code. Example 1111 2222 33333 4444 and its under the 1111 Its stupid but it works. I get confused thou when I’m at the ATM because my ANZ Australia Visa Debit works when I select credit card. And my Bangkok bank I select Savings account, But I press Creditcard a lot and hold up the line. But yes it works online fine. Shop around still there be some a few more cards to chose form.
March 27, 200818 yr My Kasikorn Visa debt card has the 3 numbers on the signature panel, they will also issue you with a separate card number for online use. It is very painless when you open the account
March 28, 200818 yr Have to agree with Chang paarp. Open a savings account with an atm/debit card. Apply for Internet banking and apply for a K-Web shopping card online which will be linked to your savings account. This process can be carried out once you have recieved your internet banking puser name and pin code. Easy!
