'TUMS' is great and works very fast against acid. The problem is that for some reason, TUMS is not sold in Thailand even though it is just calcium carbonate. You can buy this as a vitamin and crush up the tablet BUT this will be very expensive.

Honestly, the doctor at BPH was trying to get me to get the Prevnar 13 first but his English was surprisingly limited and I couldn't understand why he thought it was better to get the Prevnar 13. Being uneducated, I assume that the '23' would be better than the '13' as it covered more types of viruses. Next year I will get the Prevnar 13. Thanks again for all the help you offer daily.

Thanks. It looks like I got things screwed up. I am 67 years old and I went to BPH and got Penumovax 23. The doctor there also recommended I get Zostavax. He insisted that is was OK to get both at the same time, in different shoulders. When I got home and read thru the Penumovax 23 paper insert, it said NOT to do Zostavax at the same time as it was live virus and would have a lowered effectiveness. Also I am reading that Zostavax has been pulled off the USA market and 'Shingrix' is recommended(2x). What should I do now ?? One day later I have no side effects other than a slightly sore arm. The Zostavax cost 6000 baht and Penumovax23 cost 1400.

It is interesting that if the word 'taxes' and 'crypto' are used together, many act as if this is the end of the world. For some reason, when it comes to most all other assets/investments taxes are considered normal and expected.

Thanks to all posters !!! Lots of good info here. I will check out a few of these links and do some research. Being that my requirements are low, I find that the more I read the less I know. I guess that almost any decent mid-priced laptop will more than fit my needs BUT it's hard to decide on exactly which one to buy. The last time I shopped in the USA, you could buy a low-mid range computer for $225-$450. it seems like the prices have jumped up 2X or more. I guess that is the supply chain chip shortage that I keep hearing about. Thanks again for all the help.

I think it's time for a new computer. I bought my last HP laptop computer in 2014, at Walmart for $250 USD. It is still working OK and does everything I need. It is not causing any problems now but I would rather get a new computer now before this one dies on me. It is 8 years old. I live in Pattaya full time so I am looking to buy locally or online. I do not do any gaming or photo editing, just general web surfing. I do not want a used or refurbished machine. I don't need to buy the cheapest machine either. I think a mid priced machine would be best. I would like it to have Windows factor installed. I don't really know about these 'netbooks, Chromebooks, or tablets' and if they might be better. I was looking on the NEWEGG site and it seems like computer prices are MUCH-MUCH higher than I remembered. Maybe all the chip shortages I have been reading about how push up prices a Lot. Fortunately, money is not a big issue for me . I would appreciate any info or thoughts on what my next machine should be. Looking on that NEWEGG site is very confusing as they offer so many types of computers form 10K-100K baht. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Binance and many other crypto exchanges offer the option to short many coins.

Maybe they bought at 50K and Sold at 60,000. Nice 20% profit in a short time. Maybe next they shorted at 60,000 and are making big profits now. Maybe. You never know, so no reason to assume the worst case outcome.

Good post. I would agree with you. Definitely better to be lucky than smart in investing/gambling. People can act strange at times. Some would never play a hand of blackjack for $25 but have no problem to let thousands sit in various markets. Most all markets are manipulated and insider trading/corruption is common place.

Yes, you're right. A bit of a 'crash' but bitcoin has a history of 'crashing' and recovering. Maybe a good time to cost average for people that bought BTC in the mid 60K's. I am Not giving anyone advise to follow. I am just sharing my opinions.

As long as they are getting "Lucky" and making money does it really matter what they know or how sophisticated they are. I am assuming that you are a sophisticated investor. In my many years of investing, I have always found that it is better, more profitable, to be lucky than smart.
