Is it worth it at 78 ? - Implant replacement teeth
I recently got 2 Straumann implants as I wanted a top brand. At his age he probably would be OK with a cheaper brand. I would definitely recommend the Straumann brand if money is not an issue. The price included the crown. I think some implant brands will make you pay extra for the crown.

Is it worth it at 78 ? - Implant replacement teeth
I would recommend PBH, dental/implant clinic on the 5th floor. I recently had 2 lower rear implants done there and it came out great. Not the cheapest option But I would see what they recommend. You never know how long you will live and 'if' you have the money then who better to spend it on.

You can buy it here at many pharmacys. You don't need a doctors' Rx. Most antihistamines will work for itching.

Lazada Sleeping Pills.
This bring to mind a quote from an old Rodney Dangerfield movie, "I don't know how to go to sleep. I only know how to pass out"...Maybe some truth in that.

Lazada Sleeping Pills.
In Thailand, they sell the benadryl as a 50 mg pill. That's Very strong. They usually recommend 25-50 mg for sleeping But I would recommend that you first try a lower dosage of 10-15 mg. You can easily break the 50 mg tablets in half giving you 25 mg and then take a knife or scissors and cut off a piece to get a lower dosage. Less is better especially if you want to avoid the next morning hangover effects.

Lazada Sleeping Pills.
Hydroxyzine has a longer half life, about 20 hours so it's more likely to give you a hangover effect the next day. Benadryl (diphenhydramine--has a shorter half life , about 7-10 hours, so does Sominar. Shorter half lifes will give you less next day effects.

Lazada Sleeping Pills.
My friend uses this for sleeping quickly. He says it puts him to sleep very quickly. He uses Benadryl (diphenhydramine--15mg) ...2 times a week.... he alternately takes doxylamine(sominar-10 mg ) a few times a week...He alternates them to try and avoid building up a tolerance But they are Both second generation antihistamines so I don't know if his plan is working. These seem to be lower dosages than recommended BUT he also takes 1-2 beers with them to add to the knock out effect. He claims that by taking the lower amount of pills he gets very little next day grogginess and the alcohol clears his body quickly. Is something that would be reasonable safe to do 3-4 times a week ??? He has been doing this for several months and doesn't seem to be showing any side effects. He does complain of getting a very dry mouth which is a common side effect of antihistamines and alcohol ... I was considering trying this but I thought I might get your feedback...Thanks for any opinions.

Safe havens during songkran
In Pattaya, they will keep throwing water even past 8pm. Some places keep it up until 10 pm. Rather annoying to get wet when your heading to an air cond. store.

Colonoscopy, Where and how much.
I think that is a fair price considering he had 5 polyps and biopsies at a private hospital. Prices are rising everywhere on everything. IMHO

You should only count the correct answers that you actually know...You should get 2 out of 10 correct without even reading the question, based on the odds.

Health Insurance for the over 70’s
$5K USD is not that bad. It's about 175K THB....Way less than you might pay for one episode at a private hospital.

Addiction
You can easily pull apart the 50 mg tramadol and knock out a little bit of the power. It won't be and exact amount but you can certainly lower the amount you take. Also you can dump out the entire capsule and cut the power into 4 or 5 approximate size piles. Again. won't be exact but close enough so you can slowly lower the amount you take each day. You can then either add the small pile to water/soda and drink it down or to totally avoid the taste or buy some empty gelatin caps and put the power into that. There have been many good suggestion made here. It's up to him to follow them or just keep talking about it.
