Wife always sides with daughter even when she is wrong!
FritsSikkink replied to stubuzz's topic in Family and Children
No, but how do you tell her off? Explain that what she is doing is wrong and tell her that there will be consequences for bad behavior or do you start swearing / shouting? -

They voted to stay based on promises which where all broken after the vote. Scotland should just declare independence like many countries did before them. England is scared they will lose a lot of revenue. -
Supreme Court clears way for House to get Trump’s taxes
FritsSikkink replied to Scott's topic in World News
It will reveal that he uses different valuations of property for tax deduction as for getting loans. This is both bank and tax fraud. This will result in loans being stopped, requiring immediate payback. As he doesn't have that money all property will be seized and he will face jail time. -
Investment Law
FritsSikkink replied to killblues's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
Officially there are some headaches: It is a business which requires work, work requires a work permit, a non-B visa and 4 Thai employees. A business needs to be with a Thai partner who owns 51 percent of the business (not needed if you are from the USA) Money lending is limited to certain businesses I don't know if selling lottery tickets is allowed by foreigners -
Investment Law
FritsSikkink replied to killblues's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
This sounds strange: "the company that we invested in" are you a share holder or did you give the company a loan? "the company to buy/sell the tickets on our behalf" a company buys and sells for the company and his shareholders. "they take a cut." the company gets the money and gives the shareholders dividend OR pays rent on a loan. -

Biker group, all 3x protected got COVID
FritsSikkink replied to THAIPHUKET's topic in Health and Medicine
Vaccinations will reduce the effect of covid on the body, not protect it from getting it. That you don't know that after 2 years of information is pretty sad. -
Your wife assumes things and worries about assumptions, ask them how your daughters move to BKK would effect schooling and housing. If your daughter has real talent, they will bother to sign her. It seems you both miss the skills to negotiate, look for someone who can help you there.

Send them all the questions you have well before the meeting as their answers could generate more questions from your side. Use the visit to get to know more about the people who will get involved with them, get their personal details. Aks them to show you around and if you could talk to people who already performing there. Have a look at the contract, ask questions when you don't understand things. DON'T sign the contract there and then but let a lawyer review it and when issues arise ask them to change that. when you are happy with the contract after that sign it. They might want to rush things and will say that everything will be ok but take your own time.

Fact checking has nothing to do with it, this is the law: "the conditions are defined by the “Hotel act” published in 2004 which stipulates the rentals of less than 30 days are only possible by approved establishments. Hear this, who has a hotel license. Individuals can legally rent their property for longer than 30 days either through Airbnb (or any similar platform) or via more “traditional” means. With the exception of guest houses registered at the Ministry of Tourism (Ministerial Regulation, 2008)."
