I know some people who live on UK pensions, that, in my opinion are not too generous. My house, my cars, are all paid for. I have no bills except for electric that runs about 20,000 per month when we live there and about 11,000, while we are away. We have expenses for 3 staff that run about 40,000 per month. I sent Obama a substantial donation for his promise to sort out the awful healthcare system. He failed miserably despite having majorities in both the Senate and HoR. It was deplorable and Biden, one of the few good things he actually did, was to pass a law to allow Pharma companies to have to negotiate prices of drugs for the people who were insured under the ACA (Obama's healthcare act). Note Obama allowed drugs to be sole to these insured folk at premium prices way over what they can charge Medicare or any Federally sponsored system. If you knew how egregious this was paid for by lobbyists who gave only 10 million dollars for pricing with extra hundreds of billions, you might not thin Obama was that great. And BTW, you cannot opt out of Obamacare, if you don't sign up, you get fined.
