Who the hell cares, unless you own a coach or an hotel? They are rude, block the sidewalks and generally don't seem to do much for the economy. Let them find somewhere else....and let's face it, Thailand is mad expensive now, even though we don't notice it, but add together shrinkflation and inflation and your grocery bill goes through the roof. Electric although its's has gone down is much more expensive than America or the EU, cars are a rip off....cheap labour and outrageously expensive cars. I just bought a Japanese made model.....it costs about a third to half the price there in Tokyo than it does here in cheap Thailand. I really want to move and get away from this poop-hole third world country, but I'm too old for another major move.

An I glad to see this......,I was shocked and horrified when sitting on the toilet two days ago to see the very small print on my favourite toilet paper. I am picky about toilet paper and hate the cheap stuff that your finger goes through, so I buy Scott 3 ply. So I buy some on Saturday, and place them next to the stock already in (I like a big stock of toilet paper) anyway, I decided to move the new pack to the bottom rack and the old pack to the top, not that toilet paper really needs such inventory attention....but I felt that the sizes were different......and So I checked. Old packs 163 meters new packs 152 meters for 6 rolls. The cheeky bastards. I use a lot of Scotts stuff including their wet wipes for my tender bottom and kitchen/ bathroom paper towels. Now what can I do, I cannot exactly replace everything I use of their in protest can I? I tried to ban Gillette from my life a few years ago when they did the sick ad insulting men (their customers) but it is difficult. Can people suggest some other brands for me to try? The other product that has undergone massive shrink-flation is Magnum Ice Cream. The number of calories ion a bar is about 2/3 of what it used to be. I don't mind so much because I am fat and should eat so many calories anyway.

Negligible. We have several inside the house.....about 7, I think, they can be accessed directly by phone, and my wife uses them to check up on the servants while we are away.....and 12 outside more traditional cameras. These use next to nothing in electric and can't say I've noticed any difference in electric bills since using them. What drives our high bills are a) 10 a/c units b) Clothes drier for my clothes c) Washing machine with heater for my clothes 90 degree wash d) 100 lights or so all around the property inside and outside the walls on all night e) electrified fencing one top of the walls, and hundreds of pumps, for fish and water running day and night.

I would approve a program, it would be introduced at a massive conference, and by next afternoon the press had found a way to fiddle the incentive program and get more money. Go figure. My plan is to become non resident. I have other homes in other countries, and will spend time there. I'l ditch the retirement visa and come here as a tourist. I'll be damned if I am paying more taxes on money that has already been taxes. I can spend time in the US, time in Europe and less than 180 days here. I hate it here in rainy season and March, April, May so it's pretty easy to arrange a schedule that works with better weather. March and April in Miami' September, October in Europe; and a couple of months cruising. I'll sell some land my missus owns here and use the money to spend in other countries. I self insure for medical here, so no changes or need for insurance; and I have insurance for Europe. The only medical insurance problem is the US and I am insured for Part A anyway (the hospital stays)

Typical British, first question whose fault is it, who is to blame on and on. Being wronged for a couple of hundred quid is totally irrelevant to me. I won't waste my time to chase down 200 quid. I came to the conclusion when I was about 40, that you need ENOUGH. Being poor is horrible and a vile way of living. I don't ever want to live like that, because I was brought up like that, every penny counted. I also understood that most working people were debt poor (wouldn't drive an old car, new bigger house very time the mortgage rates came down). I have had zero debt since my early 30s, every house, every car paid for by cash. That's how to get rich.....have a life style that consumes a small fraction of your income. If yo can't afford it, don't buy it. Steal those expansive handbags like they do in LA if you have to have some stupid brand name <deleted>.
