Maybe a good idea for a 2nd opinion, my first urologist did a procedure which when I think about it still gives me shivers, lots of blood for a couple of days and peeing was like peeing Razor blades even up to a point that I was almost afraid to pee. When I mentioned to my 2nd urologist what my 1st urologist had done he looked very surprised

No worries ???????? edit: you got me curious, it was @Moonlover

I think you are mistaken me with someone else, I am on Xatral XL for my enlarged prostate. Fortunately not yet have to use a catheter ????????
-
Never a good idea to start taking medicine that someone else is taking. Go to see an urologist and talk to him about it he can subscribe you the right medicine. Also please do note that AFAIK all the medicine for enlarged prostate have some side effects and that your urologist will (should) also explain.

Can’t tell for sure, but certainly not as long as 2 months. Now when I pee my bladder is almost completely empty (tested recently with a ultrasound and a flow test). Before absolutely not. maybe time to talk to your urologist?

Moving from AIS to DTAC while keeping existing number
MJCM replied to XGM's topic in Mobile Devices and Apps
Question. was your wife on a prepaid or on a postpaid plan with AIS? I find the AIS customer service is quite good, very happy I made the switch from DTAC. -
That is Thai economics for you, if you can't rent it out, just increase the price to re-coup your losses

Sorry to hear that, maybe Sheryl could shed some light on this. I recently went to see him (6 month follow up) and had a ultrasound and a flow test done and everything in my case was oke Before (my first visit) I went to see some other urologist and long story short I could not pee without seeing blood for a couple of days, very very very uncomfortable, so I looked on here and got a recommendation for him. And on my first visit when I mentioned what the other urologist had done to Dr Charuspong, he was also very surprised about the procedure the other Doc had done. In my case I am very happy with Dr Charuspong only problem I have it’s +/-500km away from were I live

What I meant is that I drink a lot, at least 2 liters of green tea and approx another liter++ of water a day and I am peeing approx 3-4 times a day and 1 time at night max..
-
It is totally not normal that you drink lots of water and only pee 2 times a day. I drink a lot of green tea and water (and sometimes beer ) and I pee about 3-4 times during the day (once at night) and I have an enlarged prostate for which I am taking Xatral XL. My advice go see a urologist, I can recommend this one, he is in BKK but as I am in Buriram it's a bit of a pain to go there but I have seen other urologist and you don't want to know my experiences with thm. https://www.bumrungrad.com/en/doctors/Charuspong-Dissaranan Also maybe it's a good idea to have a comprehensive blood test done (don't do it in Bumrungrad unless your insurance is paying) at least 2x a year

Changing marriage extension to retirement
MJCM replied to JammG's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
good thinking ???? Another question then. suppose he as multiple reentry permit, how is he going to solve that? Oke on returning don’t tell the IO about it, but whatif the IO spots it. Don’t know if asking the IO to let him in visa exempt will work? -

I see what you mean, he doesn’t disclose on his way out of the country that he is divorced, IO at the border will see that his extension is still valid and will just stamp him out. correct? -

You are on overstay right now, as said already by other members only when your wife dies it will be still valid until expiration date, NOT when you got a divorce. goto immigration on Monday -
Moving from AIS to DTAC while keeping existing number
MJCM replied to XGM's topic in Mobile Devices and Apps
Other way round, OP has to go to the DTAC shop but question for the OP do you know that DTAC is soon to be TRUE? That is the reason I switched from Dtac to AIS and I was a customer for almost 9 years -

I am not the Poster and I did not put that Confused emoji there, but you forgot to count for the time to drive 500km (2 x 250km) that is a long day and Kap Choeng was so difficult that when I moved to Buriram and they were the designated IO for my area, I went with NON-O from Savannakhet and only switched back to Extensions after they opened a IO in Buriram. One example how difficult they were, they WOULD NOT process my application unless I got a Yellow HOUSE BOOK, just got send away. -

That I did not know, but then understandable why it's much more complicated then when you are married in Thailand only. I registered my Thai Marriage in my Home Country but that is only because of on my death the taxman doesn't keep a lot of my money and my wife inherits the lot ???? -
Changing marriage extension to retirement

The only time I had to show my documents that I was single, was upon marriage at the amphur and at the MFA, after that only the KR2 and the KR3 mattered. We don't have kids but every year they asked and wondered why, we are both in our 50's so not starting now to have kids : -
Changing marriage extension to retirement
MJCM replied to JammG's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Sorry that was not what I meant, I agree that the Retirement one is much simpler, and you also don't get the 3rd Degree from IO. I have witnessed on several occasions that people (who were applying for a marriage extension) got send away because their documentation was not complete, but that said also witnessed a guy (going for retiremtn) got send away for the same reason -

Could you maybe list (if you remember) what they wanted? Could help some other members that stumble on this thread? Edit: These are the Docs that we needed (for Marriage Extension) -
Changing marriage extension to retirement

I agree, I have done the Marriage extension around 10 times and Retirement now 2 times but I have never had a problem with it, the only reason why I switched was because of the Under Consideration Period. I also agree that every Immigration is different, I always used the same documents every year and it was always accepted. -

Paper work is not that much different only difference is - NEW KR2 from the AMphur (20 THB) get it on the day or day before you go to Immigration - Copy of KR3 front and back - Pictures of you and the wife. - Copy of Wife's ID and House Book What I did was I scanned all the documents into my PC and just when needed printed them out (after I changed the date) easy peasy. Our IO doesn't want double copies but even if they want double copies then setting the printer to 2 copies instead of 1 no problem -
Changing marriage extension to retirement
MJCM replied to JammG's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I hated it because there was always a chance you had to go back because you or they missed something. It did not happen to me but it happened to a friend of mine, he was in BKK (during the under consideration period) and had to (really) rush back home to get papers to IO because they misplaced some documents and in the end he had to go back not once but 2 times. So (IMHO) while being under consideration it's not wise to go anywhere far away so you are stuck at home. Ps: We have never had a Home Visit not when I had the Marriage Extension in Pattaya or when we moved to Buriram and also NO home visit since I changed to Retirement. -
Bangkok bank letter Bangkok Branch in Jomtien?
MJCM replied to mitebbots's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I asked about the same question in my local BBL Branch yesterday, and they said "you can get the letter or 3 or 6 month statements at any branch the same day, only difference is the 1 year statement which will take 7 days as it has to come from Head Quarters" -

Good Point. They (IO) wanted, on my change from Marriage -> Retirement the ID card of my Wife and after I got the year stamp I looked into my passport and also noticed a TM30 report automatically done (Wife is the House owner)
