Which Sub Forum?
The Thaivisa - Pattaya Sub Forum, where you are posting in !
Or use this term in Google search.
site:thaivisa.com/forum "Visa Run Pattaya" -
You have to report every 90 days (if you are in country) and you have to renew your extension once every year.

Still have the same issue trying to extend/edit existing ad's today , now i have a heap of expired ad's
!!!!!!!!!.
However, i have noticed that posting a new ad the dropdown boxes are working ????
Lenny,
as a work around maybe you can mail Linda at Support and she can adjust your expiry dates.
She can do wonders with ads

TimeKeeper is correct
From Immigration Website.
The foreigner makes the notification in person, or
The foreigner authorises another person to make the notification, or
The foreigner makes the notification by registered mail.
The notification must be made within 15 days before or after 7 days the period of 90 days expires.
The first application for extension of stay by the foreigner is equivalent to the notification of staying in the Kingdom over 90 days.

I had to wait 2 months (applied 14th June) got a stamp which said must contact again on 10th Aug and when I went on that day it still wasn't there.
I was told to come back a week later. Their excuse was that the Bangkok Office is very busy with all the paperwork they are getting and they have to check, so that's why the delay.
Finally got my extension on 15th August. (Extension of stay is permitted up to 14th July 2013).
Edit: // This was Pattaya / Jomtien Office

I am not 100% sure (as I have heard in between 10 days and 14 days before and 7 days after) but just to be on the safe side make it 7 days before and 5 days after the deadline. And even if you can't make it just send your gf, wife, friend to do the reporting for you. !

When we drive our Motobike somewhere (very seldom these days as we normal go by car) we always lock our helmet at the metal clip under the seat.
I've had 2 cut away and stolen from there!
This has not happened to us yet, but I agree if they want it they will get it no matter what you do.
But maybe it's time for someone to come up with an idea for an Helmet with a Siren in case someone tries to steal it

I would not uninstall any .NET software. (Some will be security updates.) Some applications and games and for example ATI Video Drivers need this to function properly. And if you do uninstall it and you run in problems you will then again have to reinstall it. If you are running low on disk space, trying using a program like ccleaner: http://www.piriform.com/CCLEANER
Edit: //
Question was If you can remove version 2.0 and only keep version 3
No, you can't. Several parts of 3.0/3.5 are not being replaced by new stuff but pulled from 2.0. Removing 2.0 can broke up 3.X installations as well. Moreover, the 3.X does not come with its very own runtime but uses the 2.0 runtime.Link: http://answers.oreil...-net-framework/
So my guess is it would be the same for Version 1 and Version 2

Forget the date on the 90 Day Slip. When you return to Thailand, the counter starts at ZERO. So you have to report 90 Days after you enter Thailand again.

^ If you need it, make sure you white list (allow) it only for the sites which you know are safe and for all other ones disable it.
These pages can help
Anyone with Firefox look at NoScript Link: http://noscript.net/
Anyone with Chrome look at NotScripts Link: http://optimalcycling.com/other-projects/notscripts/

^ Maybe you can Have a look at NotScripts for Chrome
NotScripts gives you a high degree of "NoScript" like control over what javascript, iframes, and plugins runs in your browser to increase security and lower the CPU usage. It is useful to help mitigate some attacks like certain cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities and drive by downloads by blocking the third-party content before it even runs with it's default deny policy. You can whitelist the sites you want through an easy to use url bar icon and drop down menu.

It seems it's not over yet ....
One of the research groups that first reported the zero-day patched by Oracle yesterday (ref: J7 U7) reports a new zero day vulnerability.-

You can renew your license (without doing any test) after it expired less then 1 year.
If you go to the DLT you only have to do the reaction test, color test, depth test. And if you renew a 5 year license you also have to watch a video on Road Safety.

I'm playing with it in VMware, nasty one.
You can say that again, the major exploit kits have already incorporated this bug, and with no response yet from Oracle, I've disabled Java and I haven't (yet) run into websites which need it. So if you are not running any Java Specific Apps my advice would be disable Java. (Instructions in Post #2).
At the moment Java 1.7.0 to 1.7.06 (Cross Platform) are vulnerable to this 0-day exploit.

US-Cert (which is the United States Computer Emergency Readiness Team) is advising people to disable Java in their Browsers.
Link: http://www.kb.cert.org/vuls/id/636312
SolutionWe are currently unaware of a practical solution to this problem.
How to Disable Java
Disable the Java plug-in
Disabling the Java browser plugin may prevent a malicious webpage from exploiting this vulnerability.
- Apple Safari: How to disable the Java web plug-in in Safari
- Firefox: How to turn off Java applets
- Microsoft Internet Explorer: Refer to the Java documentation for more details. In the Windows Control panel, open the Java item. Select the "Java" tab and click the "View" button. Uncheck "enabled" for any JRE version listed.
Note that this method may not work on Vista or newer systems. As an alternative, you may use one of the following techniques:
- Change the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\JavaSoft\Java Plug-in\<version>\UseJava2IExplorer registry value to 0, where <version> is any version of Java on your system. 10.6.2, for example.
If you are running a 32-bit version of Java on a 64-bit platform, you should set the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\JavaSoft\Java Plug-in\<version>\UseJava2IExplorer registry value to 0.
- Run javacpl.exe as administrator, click the "Advanced" tab, select "Microsoft Internet Explorer" in the "Default Java for browsers" section, and press the space bar to uncheck it. This will properly set the above registry value, despite the option being greyed out. - Chrome: See the "Disable specific plug-ins" section of the Chrome documentation for how to disable Java in Chrome.
Use NoScript
Using the Mozilla Firefox NoScript extension to whitelist web sites that can run scripts and access installed plugins will mitigate this vulnerability. See the NoScript FAQ for more information.
