It's common practice if there are many spammers from that specific IP range, then the whole range can get blocked.

For example some days I can't access the forums from Piriform (maker of CCleaner, Speccy etc) in the morning but in the afternoon (after an IP address change) I can access it just fine. (They are blocking a certain range of the ToT Ip addresses).

Blocked Ip addresses Errors can resolve themselves when you get a new ip address from your Provider.

(You can also force getting an new ip address by resetting / reboot your router, but sometimes you have to do that more then once for the provider to issue a new address)

Can I ask my wife this first ?

It could also be that the IP address range you are using is blocked by that website, and that could also explain why it works for your friend and not for you..

I didn't know that people actually used Yahoo or Hotmail for their email any more... unless that is you are a Nigerian scammer but even those muppets have got wise to it!

They are the most spammed, hacked and generally buggered about with free email that exists......

Gmail is not totally infallible but pretty dam_n good at weeding out the a==holes.

I also mainly use Gmail, but I really love the "disposable email address" feature in Yahoo, which Gmail unfortunately still doesn't have.

You just make a Base Name and then you create as many as you want disposable addresses in this form

<Base Name>- Disposable.

When you delete the Disposable address, a Sender gets an Unknown Email Address error when they send an Email to that address.

You are right about this, if you search for immigration in your GPS you will be send to Soi 8 in Pattaya Second Road (which is the old location), the correct location is only found if you search in Thai Language)

If you have Yahoo Mail you automatically have Yahoo Messenger, and those messages could be from Spammers which they send through the Yahoo Messenger Application.

When I connect my Nuvi to my Computer after I start BaseCamp, the Maps are loaded almost instantly, so that's very strange. And I tried it on my wife's laptop and that's not a real fast machine (but good enough for her games )

^ I stopped using Google Maps for making routes, as Basecamp reads the actual maps which are in your device with all the details and you can also use all the waypoints you have saved in your device without having them to export first.

Then you can make KMZ files in Google Maps and then import these via Basecamp into your GPS.

It's a good start, but nothing like True Visions yet. I hope they will improve the channel lineup in due course to bring in some real competition, but for now it's only worth your while to watch the EK 2012 and then switch the box back to True again
