It is amazing with expats reporting every 90 days and the ton of paper work they do, yet am not sure if they check their records to see who has not reported, you would think in this modern day of IT software their system would ping a flag to say xyz has not reported and they would go check on them. There was a report in the news about three months ago about a man they caught who had over stayed by 15 years!!

Go to the website, they have all the great news about the expo and they have a link to the official website to view but it comes back with "503 Service Temporarily Unavailable" Maybe they need the extra 3 Billion to get the website working? What the "503" message may mean. The HTTP 503 Service Unavailable error means that a website can't be reached at the moment because the server is not ready to handle the request. This could happen because it's too busy, under maintenance, or something else which requires a deeper analysis.

And there are many Russians in Palma. Malta was the next stop but the Russians were there already. Now in a quite part of Thailand, no Russians.

This Euro news link is about Russian tourists and where they are holidaying now. As for Russians fleeing the war, that is another story. Many fled to Georgia, Turkey, Isreal etc with one way tickets. There are Russians here who are running from the war, you will find them in many countries. Figures range from 300,000 to one million fleeing in the past year, depends where you read and what you belive.
