Had a problem changing money in Bangkok Bank a few years ago, teller siad no to changing £1,000 I said they are a bank, and they advertise on the door that they exchange money, they asked if I had a BB account which I did, they asked if I will be depositing the money in the account, I said no. Cut a long story short they changed the money in the end when I asked for the tellers name and said I would be reporting this to the head office in BKK as the bank is there to make money which pays the tellers salary. They were not happy but they changed the money.

I do respect Australia for their stand against China though it has cost Australia but I feel more countrys need to stand up to the Bully, also I think everyone would be in a better position if they officially recognise Taiwan as being an independant country but now so many have given in to China thinking it would make things easier for them but now they are finding it is not the case. You may be able to understand the official policy once you find it, but it comes down to how the official at the time interprets the official policy. Money lost? We had paid for Moderna and a number of other expats we know paid as well and this is on top of the thousands of Thai people who have also paid for Moderna just like we did. Most expats in Chumphon provence ended up getting the Pfizer jab thanks to the USA for free, greatly appreciated. My wife has just had a Pfizer jab two days ago thank you to the Thai goverment and other Thai people we know have had AZ in the past few days. We will try to use the Moderna as a booster if possible as no refunds will be given.

I hope they have the entertainment system working, I flew with them in May 2021 BKK to London, no entertainment at all, I asked a steward why and was told they had not paid/renewed their inflight entertainment licences. When I went to book a flight back to BKK, the Flight Centre (one of the world's largest and most successful independent travel retailers with over 1,300 stores around the globe) said they no longer sold tickets for Thai air because the airline would not give refunds to ticket holders. Yes, China is well known for cheap products that is what got them to where they are now economically and the west helped them with wanting cheaper priced goods. China is developing strategic technologies and have been for the last 9 years, with innovation as the core driver of China’s development and they will be the leaders in this area in 10 to 20 years. Also with the USA stopping access to key western tec (since Trump) this has spured them on develop and be self reliant. They are a power house that will be very hard to stop

How about having a an extensive health check as a first step, then you can rule out or count in any results. Next step professional councelling so you can have a chat? If going on to meds I would want to find a doctor who has good experince in dealing with expats, and can talk things through with you. I see some doctors here just throw a raft of meds at a patient that may not have any thing to do with the medical problem

In Thailand companys really have a website, they use FB, LINE etc Even with a website I still am carful and that applys in any country. Scams are not just happening here

Yes that is someone setting up a Paypal account to your bank account. I have a few paypal accounts that are used for my company and when you set up a paypal account they send 1p to verify the account. Paypal has introduced a new card that you can get cash advances from them. Not sure how it works because I do not want a loan so just delete it. I suggest you inform your bank and also Paypal fraud team just google pp and see how to aleart them
