It's true that things have improved on the legal front and in business, mostly because of the drive by gay activists, but to pretend there is generally no discrimination now is absurd.
Just off the top of my head:
Anti-LGBT+ crime is on the increase..
LGBT+ people are still persecuted around the world in many countries.
Imprisonment and death sentencing still exist.
Abrahamic religions still treat homosexuality as a sin.
Being openly gay is still taboo in many sports
Anti discrimination laws against LGBT+ are being rolled back
Some Pastors in the U.S. advocate death or imprisonment for gays
The substantial amount of anti-gay sentiment on Twitter and newspaper comments.
And that's not even touching on trans issues.
The fact that a gay man can now run a large corporation is besides the point. I bet Tim Cook still gets his share of abuse anyway.
