Buy a condo, easy

I knew a Falang who had a quad heart bypass in a Thai Govt hospital for less than $6000. He lived so they must be ok.

Change countries, I hear the Philippines is nice! Also commit "FaceBook Suicide". I did and many of my friends. All FB does is let you know when others are cheating on their spouse or going to the toilet. Just start going to another country for a few years then back to Thailand. When you come back change places you stay and places you go. That's all

I live in Vientiane, Laos and along with many expats here have had Thai Visions for several years through a local dealer, for which we have paid the full rate identical to what people pay in Thailand.
Now True Visions have upgraded their signal to HDTV and installed software to prevent people pirating their signal. I suspected that was what our 'agent' was doing since I couldn't take the a la carte BBC Entertainment option and emailing True Visions in Bangkok produced the response: "We have no agent in Vientiane."
Now we have no TV. What to do?

USE VTV from Vietinam. Much better that LiarVisions at half the price

He needs the death sentence. No reason to waste prison space, food, and air on a guy like this.

Many years ago I had a friend who's kid had been in the international school system in Bkk. At 17 years old he was good on English speaking, good at written english, good at spoken Thai but could hardy read or write Thai. Thats not a good education in my thinking

I hope they give the guy the ultimate punishment..............no use wasting space in the Bkk Hilton with folks like this
-
Better to switch to VTV from Vietnam. They have a gray market dealer in Bkk. It is half the price of Truevisions(LiarVisions as some call it) and many more HD channels. They are in with a Frech satellite TV provider. Better content at half the price.

I vote for one airport.....but it ain't SWAMPY.

Gosh you would think they would look at some Western countries and see this universal health care system does not work. Great idea on paper, bad idea in the real world.
-
I hope he gets a 30 year stay at the Bkk Hilton surrounded by Mars Bar Creek.

She may really get raped in prison but 15 days was to short. She should have got at least 1 year.

US people are lucky that the Thais rejected the offer and the US will not waste any US taxpayer money helping Thais with a preposterous learning project.
You are right on that. US folks and Thai folks both lucked out on this. Thats all the US needs,,,,,,,another boondoggle project.

They need to move this refinery outside Bkk and tighten up on safety
-
They should have written Myth Busters and let them test the myth before they tried it! ha ha ha

I like the random testing idea. But it should be done on both Falangs and Thai's. If a Falang test positive, deport him and do not ever allow him back in Thailand forever. Drugs are illegal, we all know that, so better to be tough on people using them.

Gosh, that's just what Thailand needs the F1. Wonder what the F1 will say on the next red shirt/yellow shirt protest? Remember Bahrain was boycotted over some protest by the F1 for 1 year. Also I am not sure how many folks would make that trip to Chang Mai for an F1 event. It might be like the Asian Games was in 1998 I think it was with empty bleachers.

Silly boys.......they should have sold the parts for scrap metal value if they could not be sold as parts.
-
If they keep on with crap like this they will suffer. I agree to stop foreigners from owning large amounts of land but they should let a Falang own 1 rai or something like that. Are they afraid we will take the property and leave a big hole in the ground? ha ha

Since the property bust of 1997 I never knew that the market ever recovered..........it has picked up some at times but nothing has really come anywhere close to recovery. Prices are still depressed in most areas except when folks start buying stuff after they have been smoking something.......ha ha
Ford Ranger - Some Of The Things That Are Not Good With It
in Thailand Motor Discussion

Quite right my 1st Ford Ranger did 400,000 kms without engine work. On my second one now with 240,000 with no engine work. I worked for a company we had Toyotas and they never make it past 250,000 kms without valve work on the engine. CRVs well I have driven these with poor fuel mileage, poor handling, bad brakes and butt busting seats-no thanks.
