  1. Many small twin engine planes cannot even maintain straight level flight on 1 engine. Not sure what the records show now but back in the 80s the fatal crash records of small light twins was worst than single engine light aircraft. Ì do not know this model but appears to be single engine to me. It has been years since I have flown but I do have a single engine pilot licence with a high performance retract sign off in my log book. I am far from an expert but know alittle bit.

  2. Maybe fake goods help the real goods sell. Back in the late 80s I bought a fake Omega on Sukhumvit. I wore it several months and like the way it fit and the looks so well I went out and bought the real one just like it. In this case the fake sold me on the real one. Not normal I agree but it happens. On pirate software I have not messed with that in years.......its too expensive when you consider all the problems that go with it. Many of the software makers (not all but some.........most of the Apple software is less than half of Microsoft. I see Mountain Lion OS upgrades for $20 on the net) now have reasonable prices and OPEN OFFICE is a free download that pretty much takes the place of Microsoft Office.

Would anyone buy a fake be the kind of person that would buy the real thing..........very limited in my opinion.

Cracking down on $30 Rolexes does no good but I have to agree cracking down on a $300 fake Rolex might do some good because some people could really be fooled on that high quality fake. Most fakes in Thailand are easy to spot on any kind of product and they are not sold to people who think they are the real thing.

  3. Not sure what they can do to stop this loan shark stuff. I think registering will not work. I know of one family that the loan sharks got the house and car because the wife borrowed money, told no one, and let the interest amount owed become worth more than the value of the property by far. The husband took the kids as they were older than 15, run her off and now she works in Pattaya as she should.

  4. The First Ferranti Atlas Computer was developed at Manchester University in 1962. My Uncle ran the first Commercial Mainframe Supercomputer for the Metropolitan Police at Scotland Yard in 1963 to do the payroll. As I recall, it was the size of a large room and took around 3 days to complete the salary calculations. In contrast these days your mobile phone is far more powerful. About time someone pointed out to the Americans that they didn't invent the first supercomputer in 1964.

    I agree.

  5. Indeed, why did he rent expensive condo if he had problems with money. One can rent a nice apartment for 4000 baht/month, with aircon and nice bathroom.

You are correct but I see lots of silly farangs telling girls how much money they have or make and I even know one guy renting a house for more than B120,000 per month, renting now, not buying. Can ya spell stupid.wai.gif
