Just because had been drinking alcohol doesn't mean he was drunk. I feel that the headline is disrespectful, although it is possible it's correct.

Reported infections AND testing dropping, but deaths remain high. I can only guess that the infection figure is manipulated. https://ddc.moph.go.th/covid19-dashboard/ -

Two Bangkok international schools prosecuted over illegal activities

Why not name the schools? Any random Somchai gets named when arrested for a crime but not yet convicted. They even get them to do the photo shoot of the crime. But here they don't name the schools. Are they waiting for a brown envelope? Anyway, I reckon the first one is as xxx it's the only one I know of on that road. -

Let's not forget that according to a well-known rag, eligible employees can now go up to the fourth floor of the parking garage in Building B at the Government Complex in Chaeng Watthana from 8.30am to 4.30pm! Now THAT'S news, and an important step in the fight against Cowid! -

Joe Ferrari case: Death of suspect was by asphyxiation, not drug overdose

Who's to say that the (probably low-quality) drugs he had taken didn't cause his throat to swell when under stress and that was what stopped his oxygen supply!? ???????????? If you think my twisted idea is daft, wait to see what Joe's defence team come up with, and they will do it with a straight face!- 151 replies

Apparently there was a new 'cowid cutter' (Covid cluster????) in the food factory opposite our willage recently. My wife told me to be careful and that I should now wear a shirt when walking the dogs in the willage... I guess this nasty virus could get in through my belly button or something! ????????♂️

Defense team, police wants Joe Ferrari tried for manslaughter not murder
2long replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I reckon Smedly's pretty-much spot on. As much as we all want the book thrown at this piece of dirt, there is an argument that the guy died due to the actions of the cop but the cop didn't mean or plan to kill him. HOWEVER, with all the other factors, such as torture, releasing the wife/gf on the promise of keeping quiet and removing the CCTV, he deserves AT LEAST ten years behind bars, and that doesn't mean sentenced to ten years, it means in jail for minimum 10 years.... and the victim's family get his cars and house. -

Restaurants told by Anutin: Once reopened there's no going back
2long replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
- Vaccinated staff* and customers are no less likely to have or get Covid or infect others. It just reduces THEIR symptoms, if they get it. *Most restaurant staff are younger than 30 years old and many younger than 25. Do these people really need to be double jabbed ahead of people who haven't even had their first jab yet? - I know of ZERO families where every member has been double jabbed. So how can they go out together? - Strangely (unlike many locals) I enjoy eating alone in a restaurant, which would make me super safe... except that I'm still waiting to be vaccinated. I guess it's my own fault for being born in 1971 and having looked after myself so I don't have underlying diseases. ???? - I reckon this is just a soft opening and Sept 15th will see a change in tact... ???????????????????????????????????????? -
Total <deleted>n madness. Many families won't ALL be double jabbed. Many people are waiting for a jab, as am I. Can they really rely on restaurant owners to turn people away or judge who to let in? I hope and wait for the flop after the flip... or to read that many people say 'my green card is in the post/mail' and get entry.

So, this afternoon (Friday 27th) we're expecting an announcement for the easing of some restrictions, especially in Dark Red provinces. What do you want or expect there to be? Dining in at restaurants, but maybe only 50% and only for fully vaccinated diners? 7-Eleven open all night? Shopping malls to open as normal? Gyms, parks, swimming pools, barbers? Regular and saucy massage? Tuition centres, such as language schools that only have very small or private classes? I think we can forget about pubs for now, and for booze sold in restaurants. As much as it hurts, it sort of makes sense to me. Let us know what you want or expect, and the reasons why (not). ????????????

Maybe that this will become so big that the crimes will become diluted and the news saturated and all of a sudden something else comes along (such as reopening the country or pubs) and the public focus their attention elsewhere. I know it's not on the same scale but that Sorayuth fella is back on tv now, isn't he? That's just one example.

#1 Prayuth's chance to show he's not the ret*rded demon we all believe him to be. #2 This doesn't look good for the ongoing protests with regards to 'public respect of the police'. Just this week we have seen policemen shooting kids on motorbikes, and dragging them off. It could really kick off this weekend!

Still lots of people unvaccinated, and many of the waiting and wanting. Also, many families maybe can't eat together unless they make exceptions for kids and teenagers. It's a ridiculous idea! Ok about the booze, as that's something else... but opening only to vaccinated diners is retarded.
