    Go stand in front of the police station on Beach Rd, loads getting pulled over on a regular basis. Doesn't do anything for safety on the roads but is a right good earner.

    In the absence of long pieces of wood and plastic piping, it seems sensible to chuck a few paying passengers in there and make money. To be honest, accidents are few, say compared to these large compressed gas coaches that roast dozens quite often. They are quite efficient and whenever I have been in Thai towns that don't use them, sorely missed.

    There is a stretch of Hwy 36 about 5-6 Km from Sukhumvit in Nong Plalali where the lights, for a Km, have been out for 6 month at least .... it's a dangerous enough road well lit and in daylight, but it remains unaddressed. Something like this should not need reporting as the police are up and down there frequently. Those types of issues seem to just persist here, waiting for the next pile up!

    I took anther look and disagree, it appears to not have quite stopped yet, when the guy tried to step off. When older, and struggling, better to ring the bell and wait until it stops before even getting up from the seat. Didn't a Chinese (HK) guy die after a fall from a baht bus a while ago?

    Give the offending ladyboys something to lean against as they wait for 'clients'. It is ridiculous, the police know who they are, they are repeat offenders, simply need a longer sentence in jail.

    At both ends..... I have wondered if one might risk being charged with some vandalism or property damage if you did that?

    My first thought too.... Although I expect passengers would need to get to the front to pay their 10 baht. There is an age and mobility level one must reconsider whether Baht busses are suitable. Great as they are, not for everyone.

    Who wants to walk 2-3 km busting to pee when there is a polluted sea for 5 km! Nor would I say there are plenty of gas stations nearby... most are on Sukhumvit or pretty close to it. And you expect first time visitors to know this! Don't ever recall any on Beach Rd... used to be one near the Marina Mall on Second... I think it went years ago.
