  1. Agreed.... aren't they supposed to bring good fortune too.... perhaps not in this case.
  2. It's crxp, you wouldn't know a good breakfast if it fell on you from the sky... Old Crazy Dave's, Retox, and Nickys is where good cheap breakfasts have a history. I hear Cheap Charlie's too!
  3. There is sausage(s) somewhere there? That plate seems to be lacking few ingredients. The fancy name for the bowl the beans go in is' Ramekin', Heinz on offer at Big-CX for 69 baht!
  4. Both intentionally and unintentionally.
  5. I recall pestering the gardeners at my school cutting the pitches grass, I asked them if they got 'mower work here'... they taught me colorful ways of saying go away!
  6. Well the topic relates to close to Walking St so is about central Pattaya. I always think of that as being the tourist areas.... North Pattaya being Naklua and Banglamung City, South Pattaya being Jomtien and Na Jomtien, East Pattaya is the darkside, maybe Nongprue, West Pattaya is in the sea. I agree it is very different out of town... thankfully.
  7. Not Trini Lopez - Lemon Tree (1965)?
  8. Doesn't seem to work very well here on a busy road without pavements...... In reality the guy was walking in the middle of the road which makes no sense.
  9. I have often wondered why they bother. Most go through multiple messy and expensive divorces on a regular basis. The demon drink .....
  10. Other than openly breaking the law you mean?
  11. Keep churning out them ideas boys...... plenty of room to squeeze another festival or other in!
  12. Well he might have praised the authorities for a swift arrest, but it does sound like the guy walked into the police station and gave himself in. Where did that THai smile go to?
  13. Well here someone gets a good percentage too making up for lawyer costs.
  14. One came to one of the Expats club recently, he runs a dog charity and keeps a lot of disabled dogs. He was a fair way off being a millionaire. Just a person who loves dogs. One can forget charitable people exist in the wasteland of Pattaya sometimes.
  15. Possible just forgot to let go!
  16. You should be, you had one thing to do and you failed!
  17. How about the car park at the Sports stadium?
  18. He would have a winter heating allowance so no worries! The solution is to get to France and come over to the UK in a dinghy and get everything for free.
  19. You hear of a lot of convoluted goings on with respect to house or land ownership here. A house close to me was involved in a legal dispute for many many years, there have been 3 or 4 people claiming ownership in the interim.... beware whether a seller really has legal and clear ownership.... A slight aside.. a pal woke up one morning at the house he owned to find police, a lawyer, workmen, his ex girlfriend and a truck outside ready to take all contents. Not long after he was left with a shell, they even were away with the water pump. Of course all the aircons went. Best I could glean was she helped him furnish the place, his money, but she kept all receipts. She chased for the house too after, but he managed to thwart that.
  20. Why is there a vague nursery rhyme in my mind about a well, jump in and shiver, come out like a piece of liver? The guy didn't know about a well in his own lawn?
  21. Bloody looney wasting all those peoples time......
