    Years ago in Thailand, so many were fakes that they didn't attract much attention. They have serial numbers so there is sone traceability. A ground floor condo is certainly not a secure place.

    I looked it up.... famous for both its outstanding natural beauty and unique flora and fauna. Sounds as dull as dishwater.

    I tend to go with their real names, and some parts are not only East...... Some of those areas might prefer not to appear they are under the Pattaya dominion.

    I don't even think to call some of the dark side areas as 'Pattaya'. Strikes me it stops at Sukhumvit. (North Jomtien and south Naklua.)

    Doubt most of them could muster 5000 baht. There is an eversion in Thailand to destroying people's livelihood.... and liberal marketing is part of the freedoms here. What were they expecting when they made the Beach such an open space, and the streets a traffic jam.

    Well not sure what you want as you asked no questions. Jobs often take longer than expected, a new part may be required and getting the money and procuring it all takes time, and yes, sometimes the attitude is lackadaisical. You might get a break on rental if you push, and another option is to complain to City Hall.

    There is a slight possibility that some item was scanned but not put into the bag, I once thought that had happened to me, but of course I also thought my own absent mindedness could be to blame. Indians can be very argumentative and I can see that getting the workers in the shop irritated too.... throw in language confusion!

    Traffic, which is a 'heavy' in Pattaya by your metric, is far far worse in Bangkok. Open walking areas exist in the Pattaya area,, simply not in the Beach Rd, North Rd, 3rd Rd and South Rd rectangle. I think even Jomtien beach offers a good walk.

    I was alone at home and nothing else to do... they didn't announce prior that it would be a sea of people. IIRC I took refuge in a Walking ST GGB.
