    Well to their credit they usually take the robes off them when wrongdoing is proven.....but on occasion the whole barrel is spoiled.

    You maybe present a contradiction.......? Surely in the UK illegals seem to do better than homeless British veterans and mentally ill! What redtops print about it is not really 'treatment', just press seeking to sell papers.

    Don't see much of problem really... just walk up to a m/c taxi driver and tell him where you want to go and how much you will pay and usually off you go. Car taxis used to be a problem but since Bolt less of an issue.

    Yes, they do seem to have given up the ghost...... except for the tourist tax collections in front of the Beach Rd station.

    There are plenty of explanations of how this was achieved out there....some far more plausible than little green men with tentacles doing it for no reason one can fathom!

    I don't think so... we have heard of this very scam numerous times.... seems to have overtaken snatching gold off the Indians.

    There is a Thai singing TV program my Mrs watches each evening as I sit there. It seems to specialize in inviting foreigners who have lived here a while, who can often speak good Thai, and they are required to stand there and tell everyone how wonderful Thailand and the Thai people are... it really exceeds the need to be obsequious and fawning. They need their guests to be like that, and spend a lot of money too!

    They have my sympathy.. I have a neighbour who seems to have quite a number of dogs that they are unable to keep quiet..... if they even try to. Couple of noisy adapted motorcycle too... (which set the dogs off)! Keep me away from alcohol and weapons!

    Gone a long time ago.......(Big-CX, used to be in the food court). These days I simply scan the bill QR code with a bank app and voila, paid. I think it is near Mum Aroy in Naklua. Search with Google Maps.

    A few recent examples in soi 6 the tourists really started things off laying their hands on security staff..... nobody braver than a 6 bottle bogan!

    Yes my thought too.... pass many a parked vehicle with the driver wetting a nearby bush or wall. Where are the public urinals on the Beach Rd (free would be best, build them with the 300 baht tourist tax that is being touted again!)

    I am not fully sure that your statement 'usually started by Thais' is that accurate.... as a resident I think it is often the other way round. It is obviously an issue in tourist areas mostly as in more rural areas I find Thais agreeable. Perhaps Thai security over -react to being assaulted now and again.. but so often the drunken tourists bring it upon themselves.
