Yes to all of the above......but bookings required and often, in the hotels, rather expensive with special gala nights.

Except once when I got a room over the kitchen and from early on, I got this chopping noise. And that dangerous emergency/ fire exit on the side of the building was dodgy. Location worked for me though... another I used was up that alley by McD near the Walking St Entrance....I was pretty cheap in those days.

It is sad you think this way, Sadder than some appreciate it..... And to bring helmet wearing on motorcycles into it, that tired old irrelevant distraction, is super laughable. Perhaps 6.5 million motorcyclists have died wearing masks but no helmet in Thailand alone? -
But look at the buying price!

Just down the road for me.....and I still let the Mrs do many functions. My driving licences are due next year I think... I hate hate hate doing them...got 'sent home' once to come back tomorrow... they had no idea if I lived in Pattaya or Bang Saray.

It is all very well you making such a comment, but you do not actually say what point he made is stupid or incendiary? I see little choice other than undergoing rabies shots if bitten by a soi dog here..... If there were no soi dogs, only owned ones, who have been taken to the vets for their shots, Thailand's sois would be safer.

Yes... it would seem much wiser than not knowing the situation, burying heads in the sand with behinds up in the air and be completely ignorant of what is happening, be it good or bad, in relation to Covid infections and deaths! Refusing the public their right to truth and information we can leave to China and Russia!

Yeah, hardly if we talk of Chonburi Provincial.... maybe 20 if one uses the long dog leg of Sukhumvit and Hwy 36. The motorway is a better option, only 10 baht toll!

Will there be a special event where police are mown down by them. Sad to say, people who own vehicles like this in Thailand are a class I have little time for..... seen them parking wherever they please, and racing on highways and being pushy to get past, or undertaking on motorways.

Surprising... Vietnam was the star of the show for many here with how it was handling Covid and it's great success. It was also touted as a far better destination for both tourists and Expats and would displace Thailand....is it losing it's edge?

Surely it should be with all the pandemic restrictions behind us and flights being more readily available.....I think considering just the UK may be the error.
