    Those tired confused eyes over the first beer at 9-10 am. So many seem to have no problem getting a drink at any time of day or night. The sober ones post here how licensing restrictions and raids are ruining the drinking culture!

    Darned right they do. I took in the improved pavements on Klang and strolled from Big-CX towards the beach....met many a falang coming the other way. Later, going same in reverse, many a falang walking back beachward carrying shopping bags...I had an image of a single room with a noisy AC and a small refrigerator waiting for them!

    Why would 80% of them even be concerned over this event to let it deter them? Don't expect the average Ivan or Sanjay has much concern over a nightclub he can't afford a drink in. The former are getting away from army draft and awful bitter cold weather, the latter aiming to stand in the middle of the road holding hands with his male friends. Do you think these events are on Moscow and Delhi TV? What a drama queen.

    Agreed.... short memories here. Even if a place gets a closure order they are back quickly with a new name and somehow get a licence...

    Not sure what your point is. They certainly still want these groups as they are customers, and pay the same as Svein from Oslo. Inclined to think the boat crew are somewhat like taxi drivers and hate everyone!

    Whose vote might this pick up.... certainly in the Pattaya area there is a support for the tourist industry and it being allowed to make money? I know there is a contingent of religious types in the country too, who would be happy to see alcohol more restricted. Somebody has got a bee in their bonnet... Although thinking back some years, there were often clamp downs to rein things in just before peak season. Filling up those Covid drained coffers.

    Been with the wife's brother? Probably need a new one! The so called MOT is no issue here.... in fact the wife's brother should have kept it up to date each year with test, insurance and tax. My Mrs takes mine to the place on Hwy 36 each year and gets it done, motorcycle too....never takes her long. Many insurance agents will do it for you, and there was a place in Central Festival, 5th floor would do it. Another in Big-C, the one near Tai.
