    Dear oh dear, how the tide turns. During Covid we had all the bars pretending to be restaurants, and now we have it the other way around..... Asinine really, there should be some relaxation during the World Cup.... one of life's great pleasures, watching football with a beer and a bit of food!

    The sign is certainly still there! I have no idea if it is policed in any way. Can only add that one sees a few cars in there quite early in the morning. I don't see any facilities to put a barrier across the entrances....

    Would presumably require some cooperation between immigration and regular police. I just don't see it happening, nor have heard of it. I have heard of police threatening to take those convicted of DUI to immigration to get their Visa/Permission of Stay cancelled, but it is usually to get some money off you.

    No. I have heard of this option and had it suggested to me....I have a 'night' mode which runs things in low and raises the setpoint a degree. Dry mode may give you a dry throat ... it is suggested if it is humid but not hot.

    The vehicle owner is responsible for all infringements in such cases.... although I have no issue wrt fines in that case, it is unfair in the case of penalty points... ie only direct convictions. A pity, will never happen as police would have to work harder.
