  1. Sounds like they got a right Captain Bligh in charge there.
  2. The side of the road works well for me, one needs the right hand close to the window sometimes! I am in Pattaya usually and it is sometimes best to avoid the busy times, I often attribute the bad driving I see to Bangkokians in town for the weekend. Ignorant drivers.
  3. We might be doing better than Bangkok, where buildings crumble into dust or tumble into the subway system.
  4. Yes, true. But I expect it still puts some money in the coffers.
  5. Well I lean more towards a Banksy than an erupting cxck and balls myself.
  6. I have seen plenty of warnings against swimming etc of late due to rough waters from that huge typhoon Ragasa! So I guess Apple aren't making a smart watch!
  7. Most seem incapable of keeping the thieves and beggars off the capitols streets in the Western world, maybe Russia and China could keep it sorted.
  8. The ones I have seen have been rather unattractive, but that may be my tastes. I have always felt certain nationalities or ethnicities prefer them with a bit of fat on them like a rare steak!
  9. More the point, don't be lured into a false sense of security that other vehicles aren't about to accelerate round the guy and certainly won't be looking out for you!
  10. Says who..... ? A person does not have the right to video record someone against their will even in a public place in Thailand. Perhaps you are thinking of another country?
  11. I alway thought that if you tested positive for Gono, you were given the treatment for Chlam as well as a matter of course.
  12. They seem to think they have a right to film anyone in a public place. This is a belief they have perhaps imported from their home countries along with a little arrogance. It is also not true here.
  13. How do the police go about making a summons here?
  14. Sounds like more of an attraction than the fake Muay Thai we get!
  15. This falls a little flat seeing as it has been going on since i first ever came here way back when! When the girl doing acrobatic tricks was a actually a small child!
  16. Usually a different approach, simply one trying to entice you into the bar.
  17. To answer your question, yes. Mostly at nighttime, I hear there are more of them as customer base has shifted.
  18. It is just a question, and it is not me you have to persuade, but I presume the answer is no. Usually things here require some paperwork, or do you provide a free service? Probably OK providing the dogs do not play card games as they do in the poster!
  19. Don't feed the trolls.
  20. And you have a licence and work permit for Thailand?
  21. They do not have zebra crossings in Pattaya...... and even if the lights give a right of way, best to carry a brick to reinforce it. Don't slap their car, they take it personally.
  22. Unless they initiate a program of them sneaking up on katoeys on Beach Rd and whacking them over the head with a baton I see little progress.
