  1. Maybe true, Hua Hin or somewhere even quieter maybe. It is not the same place it was, is getting too crowded and traffic is an ever worsening issue. It becomes less attractive when into older age. Bloody good fun before that though!
  2. Nemos maybe, on Buakhao next door to Play Girlz, or on Soi Diana just up from The Nest.
  3. One for the road, maybe two, after the insane 4am closure?
  4. Sad testimonial....I don't think it is that bad.
  5. No, just a willingness to apologize, likely in an effort to save his job. It didn't say he admitted his guilt at all. Mind you, I believe he did it too!
  6. Absolutely, so funny they should give it back to him and let it go!
  7. Sounds like a proper mutual back patting beano!
  8. I would at least expect a suspension until the facts are known, innocent until proven and all that. Sounds like a person with anger issues and likely a bully too.. not fit for purpose.
  9. Probably more of them in Russia, more Thais here.
  10. Well done, I admire your tolerance and easy nature. Place did my head in!
  11. We had a pet rabbit when I was a kid, and I found out it was fed to us in a pie after it nearly gnawed off my brother's finger.
  12. If you have them already, it needs a focused effort to get rid, usually involving stripping out a lot of wood. For general spraying, simply Google Pattaya Pest control.
  13. Very sorry for the guy... said while biting cheek to hold back a snigger!
  14. They do things differently in the tropics!
  15. Let us not focus too much on these workers, those who were employing them and any who arranged to transport them are culpable. I thought there were plenty of ways foreign labour could be employed here, they seem to be everywhere.
  16. Getting worse where I live....not mentioning my neighbour's 'kennels'.... a new business opened at the bottom of my road and that came with a few dogs that are now a pack, who get involved with two others nearby, and of course the neighbours dogs. Not had an issue being attacked when on my motorbike yet, but saw a Thai guy get attacked further down the road and he lost a bit of skin to the tarmac.
  17. Yes, I suspected as much when I saw the bikes came with a few strings of onions.
  18. It was not listed that way and that surprised me.
  19. Not sure, it was included for me and with my aversion to going all that way, I have not done my own CORs for ages. Yes, a TM30 must be current, but again, when one uses an agent, things are usually less strict. An agent sorted my TM30 too, for 1000 baht (I was getting a new COR at the same timt), prior to that I had never actually done a TM30 and been here for many years, so felt I dodged a fine.
  20. Haha, I doubt it. A traditional massage rather than a sex focused one is likely better approach.
  21. Rat or two eh?
  22. Why not, perhaps his computer supply is 220-230vAC which is the standard voltage in Thailand? Most computer supplies are 100-230v input capable so what you say is possible.
  23. I was just having fun with you. I used an agent last time... I live way North of town so trips to immigration, to get a COR, are a pain, and I also avoided having to get a doctors certificate, and do the on-line test. That seemed worthwhile for the amount it cost me, total of 5000 baht, 2x 6 year licences. I didn't even need the rides to and from the DVLC, as easier to drive the short distance myself than get picked up or attend the agents office. You seem to have conveniently have forgotten those steps. Cute girl to chat to there provided too!
  24. Of course it does..... although one might fear a rogue bill one day. Quick scan with a banking app seems easier.
