    Will Advice

Leave it with a lawyer and ensure your partner knows of him/her. Leave it in the safe..... you can guarantee someone will get in there before your body even stiffens!
  2. I am sure I saw a reasonable selection in HomePro.... unless you are a fatty should not be a problem.
  3. Yes, the usual shambles, someone forgot to order the drain covers.
  4. Yeah we went through all this with Pattaya a decade or so ago........ Really dangerous is the road one has to cross to get to the beach.
  5. There are a lot of negative adjectives one could use relating to Pattaya on your once every 30 year visits, but 'boring' is a surprise. Now if you want boring, try Hua Hin, but even there a round of golf can be found, as it can in Pattaya.
  6. If the mugs keep riding past the station without a helmet, they will keep the collection box going. I told my visiting pal to bring a $7 IDP with him when he came, yet still had to hear him whinge over the fine for not having one.
  7. It may well be to him. Losing your phone is a big inconvenience and may well make his life difficult. What is unusual here is we usually get more substantial claims of what has been taken from Indian victims, like a brand new Iphone 15, many thousands of USA dollars, and a gold chain from the Mr T collection.
  8. I checked my tyre pressure after having a new tyre fitted once and it blew my gauge apart!
  9. I guess you are being sensationalist, but you are absolutely wrong there. Thais come here in large numbers at weekends and holidays, and the hookers is not the appeal.
  10. If they were to enter and spend money liberally, it might well be you being turned away.
  11. You are simply shining a spotlight where it has been shone before, the poor policing.
  12. Sounds very much like someone was snuck in from Dubai.......
  13. Would you advise clearing up the Hua Hin red light bar areas before or after this investment?
  14. Pattaya does have the highest crime index for all Thailand cities, but overall the country is classed as low crime. Where it excels is in corruption and bribery.
  15. Why specifically UK? There are many more violent and criminal societies than there.
  16. We aren't in the USA so I do not see why this is relevant. Also my recollection is that the people there would not take well to being touched or grabbed at random. Here in Thailand physical contact is less usual.
  17. The trend does seem to be to pander to these groups in our woke societies.....spare the rod and spoil the child and all that!
  18. I thought it might be someone else.......
  19. Yeah... how is that working out?
  20. They appear to believe they can go around assaulting foreign tourists with impunity.... wonder where they got that impression!
  21. Opening in the presence of a room guest is real dumb......
  22. Strange.. all the ones bar one have been well secured, usually to the back of the wardrobe. The one I had issue with seemed to have become loose... like many plumbing fixtures and wall outlets do. An over-ride code is a weak feature....
  23. Hotel rooms don't offer much opportunity to play hidey hidey from 2 women, and I would certainly not feel secure. I seriously doubt most room maids could open safes..... and a strip of metal will not do anything to the substantia metal bolts they mostly have. I feel more confident with the larger hotels who I hope take things more seriously. The only problem I had was a place using lockers with padlocks behind reception.... they gave me a key but had another. Another was a pal who stayed in a condo place and the manager lady had a wayward drug taking son and he knew where the over-ride key was..
  24. Not all the same..... some use a master key. Some even require a computer connection to open them. Seen it done. I guess one could test 9999 or 0000 or even 1234. Some require 6 characters. You may get locked out for a spell. Hard to drop them if they are securely fixed to the wall.
