    Had a friend with a condo that overlooked Jomtien bay and he commented that early morning he always saw dirty water being discharge out to the sea..... probably happened most of the night.

    Yes, a common sight, came face to face with a woman on her phone at a blind sharp bend last night..... and then at my side 3 adults and a baby on a motorcycle..... these people all have death wishes.

    And some rather harsh punitive reactions .....seem to recall in the early days the police put chalk marks on tyres in pub car parks to suggest pulling the vehicle over later on.

    I thought it had been subject to roadworks for the last few months anyhow? I have been avoiding the area for so long now........ So an 8 day closure from the 17th...... I wonder what that really means!

    Can't remember the cost but I had concertina blinds fitted at the house by a guy with a curtain shop on Naklua Rd, made of bamboo. Came down Sawangfa, left at Naklua-Pattaya Rd and on the right after 100m. https://maps.app.goo.gl/4kSL2tbVcAM2SofN8 There was a shop also on Sawangfa. Did you try Homepro, maybe do roller blinds? They can also be bought off Lazada.

    Many years ago I went to an event there, I think it was some Thai national day where everyone sang and held candles. People had picnics on the grass and enjoyed the open spce and live music. Quite a spectacle. Then they took the area away and gave it over to parking.... The whole town is becoming a car park, with stationary traffic at midday, midweek now.
