  1. I used Mots, all OK. Tik Tok seemed prevalent at the licence place and had the cuter girls.
  2. Probably not required for those stomping through the jungle in remote border areas.
  3. I thought it odd he would shoot himself in the chest, I expect a shot in the head to be more common. Easy job for the police to say suicide.
  4. You may be barking up the wrong tree here. Many found drowned have quite small quantity of water in their lungs. The previously consumed alcohol will actually be in their stomachs. I think it quite possible there would still be a smell of alcohol.
  5. I suspect a local with a camera and a sense of outrage would still pop up!
  6. Wasn't there an EU directive preventing their sale in shells. I was told this by a UK friend that they were toxic and that Nanny state group were interfering again. Christmas was not the same without that struggle to get to the nut!
  7. A bit concerning that a blabbermouth has this access!
  8. Well the 'grasses' side of it benefits the crime situation!
  9. Glad to hear my previous suggestion of spraying water on these rutting couples like soi dogs has been taken up! Unlikely to be able to find icy water but still a fair approach!
  10. Are the 3.5 million tourists we get from China worth all this criminal activity? Is it so much easier for them here?
  11. Well I have had a few more recent nights out there than that and was a bit bored with it.
  12. Bet they regret that now!
  13. jacko45k replied to still kicking's topic in Pattaya
Risky behaviour, if well out numbered they would have got a serious beating with heels and weapons. If the LBs had indeed robbed the guys I am not sympathetic, these freaks seem to engage in criminal ways without fear of punishment. They are not 'she', 'her' or whatever misguided pronouns the press wish to use!
  14. Always regarded that as the sweet spot!
  15. Ten year is the max usually, although there is PNG possibility, and I have heard 99 years mentioned before.
  16. Jeez, I thought they just got tats.
  17. This kidnapping and ransom crime seems to be popular with both Chinese and Indians. Never heard much of it with Western tourists. Probably a Scots lady wouldn't want her Angus back after finding out he was in Pattaya and not away at PSG.
  18. How do you know this? The tourist numbers suggest otherwise.
  19. And I always saw Jomtien as a quiet, no trouble sort of place!
  20. I wouldn't like to see that. Non belligerent drunks get helped home which seems fair for a tourist place built on getting you drunk, or laid, or both. Trouble makers, yes, put them where they can sober up without harming others. Multiple occurence, on the flight home!
  21. I don't know if that is true. I thought they got a 90 day Visa exempt (reciprocal agreement) under normal circumstances but it only qualified for tourism, and cannot be extended.
  22. Yes, but it all went ultimately to 15000 baht which seems excessive. I wonder if that included damage from the kick or a police contribution.
  23. No, I have no agenda to push really, alcohol is mainstream. Don't see a need to capitalize weed. Good for you, a sober and innocent past.
  24. People getting drugged happens, an easy target like someone who is drop down drunk could easily get taken. Could be many things, social drugs, the dreaded weed which doesn't mix well with alcohol. A falling down accident , a fight after belligerence, tried to rest his chin on his fist, slipped and gave his chin a good whack on the bar! Who hasn't woken up with a few injuries and blood on the pillow.
