  1. i just assumed thats where they would head to huggy. it was beautiful before the tsunami and it still is, so why would they not go there? theres the memories i guess but i dont think that would stop me.

wherever they do end up going, i hope that the area has the 1000 or so rooms a week for them. thats great news for phuket and the surrounding area.

  2. i just saw the latest re-run on the weekend. FINALLY natalie gets kicked off. pailin was actually ok, and i do wonder if their friendship will be as strong now that natalie wussed out and wanted to go home.

natalie should get some balls, and she should have realised her limitations before going on the show, allowing for a much more worthy team to run.

next to go SHOULD be the whining singaporeans. also that horrible geoff (who is actually australian but on the Filipino team) with the whistle. someone should ram that up his a$% or right down his throat. what a nasty person he is.

  3. i found that article to be a piece of rubbish to be honest. placing the blame of 60% of motorbike accidents on unlicensed tourists is, quite frankly, unbelievable. phuket is a big island and many tourists are concentrated in patong and the west coast. what about accidents in other parts of the island? how many thais drive without a licence? just what ARE the rules?

i find it difficult to believe that having a child stand up between your legs whilst you ride, carry an umbrella, chomp on a piece of chicken and send an sms is actually legal - anywhere in the world!

every time i drove over that bloody hill i was cut off by motorcyclists who were weaving in and out of traffic, with no concern for their, or anyone elses, safety. i can honestly say that i never had that problem with a foreigner. perhaps in patong there were a few idiots on big bikes in peak season, but they were few and far between.

yup. that article is still rubbish.

  4. i cant believe the amount of anger that has been directed at a man who is only trying to find a good home for his two dogs! its not an easy decision to pass them on, and he is making every effort to see that they do not end up with the wrong people. giving them a good home is much better then putting them down, surely!

ok, the dogs have long toenails. that can be easily fixed, so i suggest you get over it.

give the guy a break. hes trying to do the right thing. if you care so much, give the dogs a home.

  5. off topic and inflammatory posts have been removed. this is a serious thread folks, so lets keep it on track.

next time warnings will be issued.

and remember, if you feel a post is out of line, hit the REPORT button on the bottom left corner of the post. a mod will usually attend to it soon after.

  6. Mr Boo might object had it been tho, Boo :o

OK, we've all skipped the best Bond ever, and we have to do the famous shot, otherwise, whats the point? Not conventionally handsome but oozes sex appeal. I wasn't convinced at first, but have to admit, after watching the movie, I changed my mind.

Never was much of a speedo fan before...

hubba bubba. i just love this man. and as james bond he was wonderful.

i dont mind the speedo's to be honest. when the right man is wearing them they can look great. dont normally like those boy leg ones though. but on this lovely specimen they look great.

  7. gotta agree with girlx here. david blaine is quite the hottie. but hes quite odd at the same time. hes just so intense. i dont know if ive seen him smile yet? could be wrong.

and i dont think that he would EVER be ANYTHING like copperfield or roy and whatshisname. i WOULD say hes a big of a tiger though.

  8. last year in phuket i met a lovely person. i was introduced to this person as a woman, and thats the way i thought of her from day 1. she was dressed in a white skirt and a colourful top showing a pretty good cleavage. we had a great night out in phuket and she gained the admiration from men all over the place.

two days after meeting her, she went in for sexual reassignment surgery.

i visited her in hospital two days after the first surgery, and she sat up in bed dressed in a great pink feathered dressing gown, and looked so glamourous. her nails were manicured to perfection and we gossiped about things that girls gossip about.

over the next two weeks she endured two more operations to complete the transition from 'man' to woman. i saw such a change in her over those two weeks, that i just cant explain. with her was a girlfriend who had the same surgery a year before by the same doctor - this time she came over to get a killer set of boobs.

the day before my friend left thailand, i went out to dinner with her. prior to leaving her hotel, she told me that she had to 'do something' and that if i didnt want to see i could look away. well, of COURSE i wanted to see! she unveiled herself to me and i can tell you this much - she looked all woman to me. there was not a scar at all that i could see - and i got pretty dam_n close! i couldnt stop looking a the surgical masterpiece that this surgeon had created!

you would never know that she had been born in a mans body.

i never think of her as a 'man'. i never think of her as a 'him'. she is all woman to me and thats all that matters.

to the OP, if you choose to be with this woman, then go for it. you have been with her for .... how long now? what does it matter what she used to be? if you make each other happy then why not be together? you were happy until this revelation so why not continue on how you were?

there is a reason she didnt tell you, and the reason is that she didnt want to lose you. i dont think it was because she wanted to deceive you. she simply didnt want to lose what she had with you.

to all the 'men' here calling her an 'it' and a 'him' i disagree.

if she makes you happy and you make her happy then nothing else matters.

  9. that thai 'actress' is terrible. what a snotty nosed princess she is.

i know the couple that represented thailand in the first series (english couple from ko samui) but not sure if they would have got in through connections or not. unfortunately the show painted them in a terrible light.

one thing that i loved seeing was one of the akha girls i know from khao san rd on the telly!

  10. especially since all the farang ladies are looking for Thai men your up for a mighty challenge. snipped Best to head off to any of the islands where young topless Swedish backpackers lay on the beaches, but probably waiting for a Thai Beach Boy

Wait just remember The bed Supper Club in soi 11 has a lot of young western girls there and great place. Google it for pics

i dont know what gave you the opinion that all farang ladies are looking for beach boys. not true.

nice farangs girls just arent found in bkk...........sorry!

i find that post to be quite ridiculous.

i happen to have met a lot of western men in thailand who just arent into the thai girls for whatever reason. they have no trouble in pulling the girls when they want to.

  11. i have met quite a few people from the forum already and pretty much all of them i would love to meet up with again. those i havent met but would like to meet are (off the top of my head....there are many more than this) peaceblondie, bkkjames, teacup, boo, kat, bendix, submaniac....gosh, who else...i think i will need some time on this one...

  12. start attending the models nights if you wish to meet skanky east european low grade models. Bed Supper Club, Koi, they all have them.

'Looking' for women is always a recipe for disaster,.

Develop some interests - trinerds (triathalons) adventure racing, sailing, gym, etc - and then you start meeting people....from there you make friends....from there you get dates.

It really isn't too different to the rest of the world.

    well said steveromagnino.

  13. inasia, there is a 'ladies night' at the witches tavern on wednesdays i think it is. its worth popping in there. i used to work in the khao san area, so i tended to hang out there too. there are some OK bars to hang out in over there.

in chiang mai, why not head down to tuskers bar, the thai visa 'headquarters' where there are some western women from time to time (so i believe).

in phuket, try Nikitas, and some of the places on the southern end of the island.

there are a lot of fun western ladies to meet in bangkok, but it is hard to know exactly where to go to meet them.

do a google on Bangkok Network of Women to find out where their functions are being held. i receive weekly newsletters from them and they do speed dating stuff, networking and general get togethers. it could be worth having a look and see how you go.

good luck, inasia. you are a nice man who deserves a nice lady.

  14. sneaky little thing she is for snooping around your computer. i wouldnt let her near it again. its rude and something that should not be done. i am assuming you were in the house with her at the same time that she was doing this? bit cheeky i say.

  15. i read the post by maruna earlier today and my first thoughts were that it was a man. i thought i would wait to post my thoughts though.

at least we arent posting pictures of boys in school uniform! now THAT wouldnt be right. there are threads that are much worse than this one and they are of 'normal' girls in the street wearing their university uniforms! in my opinion that is not correct behaviour.

posting pictures of celebrities who are expected to be lusted after is harmless fun and the people in the pictures are not oblivious to women all around the world from lusting after them.

its a harmless bit of fun and you have taken this waaaaayyy to seriously.

  16. another suggestion is BYD Lofts. they are located directly in front of Andaman Beach Suites and in front of jungle boys i think (sorry if i got the name wrong).

really nice place. they have good wine, a nice setting, and the music is usually good. they sometimes have a party night i think (unless that stopped after i left). they had a really good chef before, but i think he may have left. knowing the management though, they would have replaced him with a good one if that is the case.
