  1. So why does the official TM.30 form ask for all that stuff?
  2. Why are you telling me this, I didn't tell the OP to "try Lazada" despite him saying he already tried it.
  3. Firstly, the poster 'bignok' didn't change his username. He simply stopped using the 'sparktrader' profile and created a new one for whatever reason. It was very easy to spot - same abrupt, know-it-all style. Even Blind Freddy could see it. Other posters have contacted support and asked to have their usernames changed. I forget which thread it was discussed in but apparently mods will do this upon request if you can make a valid case. The only m instances I know of this happening are 'possum1931' changing to 'NoshowJones' and 'Bob Smith' to 'Bogs Smith' and back again. The latter changes stood out because, IIRC, both users kept their old avatar. Also the old forum software used to show the reputation score so it was unusual to see a new username with an advanced score. After that it was simply a matter of clicking on their profile and noting that both usernames appeared in the recent history.
  4. 300 baht is worth it to have the physical card as backup in case of QR system being temporarily offline. Saved my bacon the other Saturday night at the rubba because BBL decided to take the online payment system offline at 12:20am in the morning.
  5. Why would I marry a Thai? They all hate farang according to you. Can't live with someone that hates you.
  6. How is that a sin, you're not hurting anybody?
  7. I don't 'hate' anyone, just calling out the most egregious of baby talk, ie. most of what you and Bob post. If you start posting worthwhile comments then you'll get praise, but I'm not holding my breath. Troll away bignoob.
  8. My old man was one of the first group but unfortunately he wasn't so good with money so we ended up in a crappy house in the Bankstown area of Sydney instead of a nice place in the Eastern Suburbs. Primary school was great, a nice mix of ethnicities and no fights or trouble. Then I went to high school at what was classified a "Disadvantaged School". After the first week I was like, Australia what have you done? 😱 It was bearable until the late '90s then you had the Skaf brothers running around raping everyone and no Aussie did anything about it. If you tried that on with their women you'd be in intensive care. Or a body bag. Then the beards started to move in in the 2000s. I ended up growing one to try and fit in so I didn't get beheaded. No joke. I lived around the corner from where they picked up a self-styled "sheikh" who was the "mastermind" of a plot to behead random strangers in tourist areas. And I won't bore you with all the details of LBC and BFL and all the executions and killings in my local area. Finally got shot of that hellhole two years ago to come live in Thailand and couldn't be happier. Despite all its flaws it's still better than South-West Sydney.
  9. Somebody needs to consume large quantities of a good antidepressant instead of alcohol.
  10. Why would you sell you birthright to become a lowly Thai? Not everyone foreigner that lives here hates themselves that much.
  11. "He" is facing 110 years in a Federal pen.
  12. OP is paranoid so he can't use phone "app's" 😅
  13. I like the Laz games, they help pass the time until the 7-11 opens plus you get vouchers, and coins that you can use to get a small discount on your purchases.
  14. I play Lazland too, won 5 free bags of Hong Thong rice already and about to win one more. I give them away to various people and all have been well received so it's a worthwhile endeavour and passes the time whilst the Grab boy is bringing me my KFC.
  15. Oh I forgot about that place on my last visit for a 90-day report, I was too busy rushing to get a songthaew from Soi 5 Jomtien to Soi 13 Pattaya for a full English at The Sportsman. PS. thanks for not laying into me about my poor proofreading, of course I meant "meat pies" not "near pies" 🤦
  16. Are you thinking of starting a business in Pattaya when you retire? Maybe an Aussie style near pie and sausage roll shop. Or put on a sausage sizzle once a week, I'd come down from Bangkok for that. Might be a bit expensive but, cos you'd have to import the proper Aussie snags, Tip Top bread, Meadowlea margarine and Big Red tomato sauce. Or whatever brands you grew up with.
  17. Wrong city innit?
  18. I'm not necessarily on Transam's team, I was just highlighting the hypocrisy of certain posters who claim that they are victims of childish "abuse" and "trolling" but engage in that sort of behaviour themselves. At least own what you are then maybe you'll get a tiny bit of begrudging respect.
  19. You can't outsmart a master troll. They keep the discussion going long after the horse has been flogged and then you end up getting a warning for bickering. As I said earlier, ignoring is the best option but some things shouldn't be allowed to stand. Eg. complaining about people making up stories about you when you do that yourself, and in a thread about forum negativity no less! You can try to do a snow job on George but it won't work with me.
  20. Of course it's trolling. Comments like that are irrelevant, off-topic and add nothing to the discussion. They're just throwaway lines from a narcissist who wants the story to be about him. When you return the favour he calls you a childish tranny troll. But hey, believe what you want to believe. If you think that mindless drivel is the height of repartee then have at it.
  21. People "hate" you because you and others of your ilk post nonsense 24/7. You invite ridicule because most of your posts are ridiculous and irrelevant. Eg. joining a thread about Parmesan cheese to proclaim that's it not real cheese and smells like vomit. That's trolling pure and simple. So much for being an adult eh? When challenged you resort to childish tactics like calling people ladyboys etc and then the mods have to come along and clean up the thread. Earlier in this thread you were complaining about how people make up stories about you but you do the same. Eg. you accused me of living in Pattaya and spending all my time in bars. I don't, I live in Bangkok and don't spend very much time in bars. You also falsely accused me of never having travelled anywhere in Thailand. I have. Travelled up and down the country many times and I sure as hell have learned more than you have despite your protestations to the contrary. You denigrate other members for their high post count, eg. transam who has 81k posts since 2007. Yet your post count is 10k and you only joined recently, or should I say rejoined as bignok instead of sparktrader. By your own measure you are a troll yet you loudly protest that you're being trolled and mistreated by all the nasty old men. You are what you accuse others of being. The only thing you've got going is that because your posts are so inane you generate a lot of clicks so I'm sure our Dan is very pleased with you. PS. don't bother replying as I won't read it. This post is for others' benefit, not yours.
  22. That just leads to bickering because the troll who thinks they're not a troll resorts to childish retorts, including making derogatory remarks about trans people. If you keep the inane conversation going you run the risk of getting one of those annoying warnings and "points that never expire" from an overzealous mod. Ignore is the best option but some of the drivel that is posted is too egregious to let slide. Hence why that poster attracts such "abuse" as he describes it.
  23. Care factor zero.
  24. No worries.
  25. Please re-read the post I was responding to. STF was describing another poster as "succinct", not you.
