  1. I have just renewed my passport I got it back on the 17/09/14 (it only took 4 weeks a 5 day to process) ....I got my Photos at a Thai photo copy shop at Ban Amphur it only took her 5 minute and it was accepted by the UK Passport authorities ....and only cost 100 baht for 6 passport size photos

  2. It's always 'a friend' and their girlfriends are always 'not a bar girl'.

Having pontificated from on high, what's so long-term about a 1-year lease? That's a STANDARD minimum lease term.

Short term is less than 12 months.

Long term is longer than 12 months.

why do people feel the necessity to put a remark like this :- It's always 'a friend' and their girlfriends are always 'not a bar girl'. ??? when I was only asking for information to help a friend .....

Oh!!! and she a teacher by the way .....

  4. I've just had my car done I took it to a car spray shop .....and they stripped off the old wax off and re-cut the paint work to get rid of all the water marks and touched up a few stone chips and then re-polished and re-waxed ..it was a full 2 day process for 2 men. My pick up now looks brand new again......... ..well worth the ฿2800 charge

5555 3000 baht to wash and wax an Issan Rolls!

Not wash and wax I said re-cut paint which is to use a mild rubbing compound on the paint work to re-move water marks and small scratches ..this is a labour intensive procedure ,,,,,,it is not just a pressure spray and wax.....how many wash and wax takes a full 2 days?????????????

  8. Pit bull, the dog they banned in the UK , yes very suitable for MrMrs council estate and totally unsuitable for children.

get a soi dog pup young and train it better, although way too many soi dogs an no one really takes care of them

I have seen many farangs here with pit bulls. Sometimes they leave them to run on their property and when walking passed the dogs charge at the gate to you, showing teeth, growling fiercely and appear ready to tear your head off if they get out. Quite frightening. I have also seen farangs walking with these pit bulls on leads and everyone gives them a wide berth.

In England pit bulls were the status symbols of the thugs, council estate and trailer park trash type people. All pit bulls should either be put down or sterilised until the breed is put out of existence.

There are hundreds of suitable breed dogs to suit all tastes, and absolutely no need for anyone to own a pit bull.

sorry BJ usually your posts are quiet constructive but this one is boll$$cks.it is not the breed it is the owner who makes a pit bull a dangerous weapon.with our one i even let kids with them around they would protect the kids till end.

    http://en.wikipedia....eported_in_2014

50% fatal dog attacks in the USA involve pit bulls. It can't all be the owners. 350 different breeds and 50% of the fatal dog attacks are pit bulls.

yes but dachshund or a chihuahua have not the power to kill but they are statistically more dangerous due to the amounts of bites they inflict on people ...it's like saying it's alright to bully if you are small ,,,,but if you are big is not acceptable

  9. All dogs big or small ,soi or pedigree have the potential to be dangerous , A dog if left to there own devices will eventually turn feral by necessity (hunger and the need to survive the main reasons) .

The dogs owner is probably 85% responsible for how a puppy will develop as a adult ,15 % is breed traits already programed into is genetics.

In my time as responsible dog owner I've owned mutts,German shepherds ,collies, Spaniels ,Great Danes the list goes on .

I have at the moment a 35kgs Pitbull and he is without question the most loving dog I have owned . His affections knows no limits and he loves strangers to the detriment of my house security ....but saying that once he know I am a sleep or I am relaxing the whole ball game changes ..he becomes my guardian and I know he would died rather than anything happen to me or my family ...

PITBULLS are a excellent breed as a family dog if they are well trained in a relaxed but firm manner , never try and bully a pitbull they are they are too strong willed and intelligent and will never respect you ....A respectful Pitbull will love you as its pack leader until the day one of you dies .

I assume you don't live in Thailand.

Your assumptions are wrong. I'am a full time resident of 6+ years ...why has that got anything to do with this discussion??????

Because you said soi dogs go feral. Soi dogs go soi dog. Anyone living here would know that.

Read what I said carefully please My quote "A dog if left to there own devices will eventually turn feral by necessity (hunger and the need to survive the main reasons) " " A dog." ...... no mention of Soi dogs in particular I was generalising ....

  10. Hello All.

I'll be in Hua Hin with a couple of friends for 2 night and we would like to know which area/bars we can visit for some entertainment ....(never been before ) and hotel recommendations in the ฿1000 to ฿2000 per night range close to the action .

Please keep comments within TV rules I do not want it to get my post closed by Mods before I get the info

    Cheers

  13. It's pretty cheap to get them professionally cleaned around ฿450 to ฿500 per unit ..complete strip down and high pressure clean I've tried cleaning them myself and never get the same results ...it pays for it's self in about 6 month because is works more efficiently (saves electricity)
