Manchester United are not expecting any club to meet their £70m valuation of England forward Marcus Rashford, 26, this summer. (ESPN) Paris St-Germain have cooled their interest in Rashford and will pursue other transfer targets before the summer window. (i Sport) Meanwhile, United manager Erik ten Hag, 54, does not know if he will be in charge at Old Trafford next season. (HITC) Arsenal have offered Italy midfielder Jorginho, whose current deal expires in June, a new contract and the 32-year-old is expected to sign it. (Athletic - subscription required) West Ham will face competition from AC Milan for Lille manager Paulo Fonseca, with the 51-year-old seen as a potential replacement for Hammers boss David Moyes. (i Sport) Scotsman Moyes, 61, has attracted interest from Spartak Moscow amid uncertainty over his future at West Ham. (Mail) Chelsea and England forward Raheem Sterling, 29, has not had any contact with the Saudi Pro League about a summer transfer, however, the Blues would be wiling to sell on-loan Belgium striker Romelu Lukaku, 30, to them. (Caughtoffside) Portugal midfielder Bruno Fernandes, 29, has hinted he will consider his future at Manchester United after Euro 2024, but for now he is focused on the FA Cup final and the tournament in Germany this summer. Royal Troon will have the longest hole in Open history when the Ayrshire links plays host to the 152nd championship in July. The sixth hole will measure 623 yards - 22 more than it did when Troon staged the 2016 Open - when it hosts the battle for the Claret Jug from 18-21 July. Two holes later, the players could then play the shortest hole in the championship's long history. The iconic par-three eighth, the ‘Postage Stamp’, will measure 123 yards on the scorecard but organisers the Royal & Ancient (R&A) is considering reducing that to 99 yards for one round, weather permitting. The R&A can use a forward tee and a front pin position to create a hole that would play fewer than 100 yards. Overall though, the R&A's preferred architects Mackenzie & Ebert have generally lengthened the links for the 2024 Open. The creation of nine new tees means an overall increase of 195 yards to 7,385 - just 36 fewer than the record at Carnoustie in 2007. There are new bunker positions - on the first and sixth fairways as well as next to the sixth green. The 15th - which was the 16th before the addition of the new 17th - played 620 yards at Royal Liverpool last year after being stretched by 45 yards since Rory McIlroy's win at Hoylake in 2014. This year’s championship has sold out, ensuring a record attendance for a Troon Open of 250,000 - an increase of more than 70,000 people from 2016, when Henrik Stenson prevailed in a thrilling duel with Phil Mickelson. This summer's meeting between YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul and former world champion Mike Tyson has been officially sanctioned as a professional fight. It means the outcome of the bout, which is scheduled to take place in Texas on 20 July, will appear on both their records. Tyson, whose professional career ended in 2005, most recently competed in an exhibition bout in 2020 and will turn 58 three weeks before facing Paul. Paul, meanwhile, beat Ryan Bourland in his 10th professional fight in March. "Mike Tyson and Jake Paul signed on to fight each other with the desire to do so in a sanctioned professional fight that would have a definitive outcome," Nakisa Bidarian of MVP Promotions said. Tyson was the first heavyweight boxer to simultaneously hold the WBA, WBC and IBF titles in 1987 but his reign as unified champion came to a shock end in 1990 as he was beaten by Buster Douglas in one of the biggest upsets in boxing history. Although he briefly regained the WBA and WBC titles in 1996, he then suffered back-to-back defeats to Evander Holyfield - the second ending as Tyson was disqualified for biting part of Holyfield's ear off. Tyson's legal issues have included a rape conviction in 1992, for which he served three years of a six-year prison sentence, and in 1999 he served a third of a 12-month sentence for a road rage assault. He got back into shape to play his part in an engaging draw with fellow former world champion Roy Jones Jr in 2020, and his fight with Paul will take place in Arlington's AT&T Stadium, home of the NFL's Dallas Cowboys, which has a seating capacity of 80,000. Paul has won nine of his 10 fights, mostly against ex-UFC fighters, with his solitary defeat coming against British heavyweight boxer Tommy Fury in February 2023. READ MORE

Premier League clubs have voted in favour of developing plans to introduce a spending cap. Sixteen clubs approved proposals for the Premier League to complete the final economic and legal analysis needed to create a spending-cap model. The model might be presented to clubs at June's annual general meeting (AGM), and if voted through it would replace the current Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR) from the 2025-26 season onwards. Manchester City, Manchester United and Aston Villa opposed the possible introduction of a spending cap on Monday, while Chelsea abstained. The league's current financial rules, under which Everton and Nottingham Forest were penalised eight and four points respectively this season, have been criticised for favouring clubs with the highest revenues. A spending cap would limit clubs' outlay on transfers, wages and agents' fees. Proposals have reportedly included spending being capped to between four and five times the amount the lowest-earning Premier League club receives in TV revenue. Leeds United, who finished 19th in the Premier League in the 2022-23 season, earned £112m in broadcast revenue - the least out of the 20 clubs in the top flight. READ MORE

Liverpool fully expect Mohamed Salah to stay this summer and are planning on the basis of the 31-year-old Egypt striker being part of their squad next season. (The Athletic - subscription required) Incoming Liverpool sporting director Richard Hughes will lead talks over a new contract for Salah, whose current deal runs until 2025. (Times - subscription required) Marcus Rashford might find his options limited if he chooses to leave Manchester United, with Paris St-Germain cooling their interest in the 26-year-old England forward. (i) Crystal Palace's £55m-rated England defender Marc Guehi, 23, is of interest to Liverpool as they seek a replacement for Cameroonian defender Joel Matip, 32, who is set to leave when his contract runs out in the summer. (Football Insider) Ajax are keen to reappoint Erik ten Hag as manager if he is sacked by Manchester United this summer. (Mail) West Ham's interest in former Spain manager Julen Lopetegui has been reignited after they learned AC Milan are wavering over whether to appoint him as a replacement for Stefano Pioli. (Guardian) The Hammers are also keen to sign 25-year old Coventry winger Callum O'Hare and Hull's 23-year-old English centre-back Jacob Graves this summer. (Guardian) Championship title winners Leicester will be able to sign players during the summer transfer window despite being put under an embargo by the English Football League. (Mail) However, the Foxes will have to sell players before 30 June to avoid profit and sustainability rules (PSR) charges next season with 25-year-old English midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall attracting interest from Brentford, Brighton and Fulham. (Mail) Manchester United are still planning to appoint Dan Ashworth as sporting director this summer with the expectation that a deal over compensation with Newcastle will be agreed soon. 12kg is way to high for your age and starting off, I would strongly suggest you get to practice and get the correct method and "form" before you even consider that kind of weight, or you'll just end up injured. Start with around 5/6kg get comfortable with the methods, etc., lighter weight, more reps, etc is the safe way to start. There are plenty of senior workouts with kettlebells on YouTube I bought mine of Lazada and never had any issues.

I always favored the scales method, where the passenger stands on a scale with ALL their luggage etc and are charged per total weight of everything including them, not individual parts of it.

Newcastle boss Eddie Howe says he wants to build a team around Bruno Guimaraes after it emerged the Brazil midfielder's £100m release clause expires this summer. Guimaraes, 26, has been one of Newcastle's standout players this season and has been linked with Manchester City and Arsenal. He signed a new five-year contract in October 2023, having impressed following a move from Lyon in January 2022. Howe wants Guimaraes to stay but admitted Newcastle were "not in control" because of the clause, which expires at the end of June. "Having that [release clause] was well planned and structured by the club," said Howe on Friday. "We don’t want constant speculation, it’s not healthy for the player or for us. It goes without saying we want to keep him, I want to build our team around him. "His form has been very good and he seems very happy and settled. "He’ll be thinking about a very busy summer ahead, where hopefully we can take the team - with him a big part of it. But we aren’t in control of that so let’s see." Newcastle, who are involved in a race with Manchester United to finish sixth, will relegate bottom club Sheffield United if they beat the Blades at St James' Park on Saturday (15:00 BST). The Magpies are seventh in the table, three points behind sixth-placed Manchester United with five games left. England forward Callum Wilson could make his first start since 10 February after returning from injury in the 2-0 defeat at Crystal Palace on Wednesday. "He came through fine, I thought he looked good and worked well with the lads around him," added Howe. READ MORE
