  1. search the internet to see if other users have or have had problems like yours. include the brand and version of your phone in the search terms. here's an example of what to search for: samsung galaxy a55 bangkok bank app will not start.
  2. each app has it's own specific requirements and those may be different from any or all other apps. Each app is usually designed and created by its own team.
  3. That may be caused by a mismatch between the bank app and the version of the phone's software. Have you tried to remove the app and then re-install it? When you re-install the app, I think will see a warning if your phone software is too old or not updated enough for the banking app to run.
  4. Actually, I think I was 1 month shy of 71 which according to the terms of service was acceptable since I was not yet 'exceeding 70'. We need fake ID now just to be treated sanely.
  5. I believe support for facial validation for foreign customers was not provided as soon as it was for Thai customers.
  6. There were more details to my interaction with the female staff member than I described in my post. To summarize she was the most competent bank employee that I have encountered since I moved to CM in 2020. Because of her competence I doubt that she was unaware of bank policy or poorly trained. That's why I doubt that bank policy is as you stated. I have many times experienced very different 'rules' at different branches of the same bank. I would chalk the refusals to allow bank app use for seniors by other Krungsri branches up to the same variation in understanding/application of the actual bank policies.
  7. Stick to farmin' in Issan. It's so simple that even you are unlikely to make similarly grievous errors as you do on AN. Almost forgot... time to put an end to your duplicitous posting and return as Owl. Then you can freely post some useful content on AN once again.
  8. Oh NNNOOOOOOO! I'm trapped in an episode of The Twilight Zone.
  9. A LOT of common drugs are composed entirely of substances found in Nature. It's time you seriously reviewed the truth about drugs in common use: AI says: A complete list of 100 common drugs entirely based on natural substances, including those now manufactured synthetically, is not feasible for an AI to generate definitively. This is due to several factors, including the proprietary nature of pharmaceutical research, the continuous evolution of drug discovery, and the extensive history of ethnobotanical and microbiological medicine. However, a substantial list of well-known examples can be compiled from available information. Many of these drugs are based on naturally occurring compounds from plants, fungi, and marine life. The active ingredients are often isolated from the natural source and are then either used directly, chemically modified (semi-synthetic), or produced entirely through synthesis. Drugs derived from plants Aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid): Based on salicylic acid from willow bark. Morphine: A potent painkiller isolated from the opium poppy. Codeine: A painkiller and cough suppressant also from the opium poppy. Cocaine: Used as a local anesthetic, it is derived from coca leaves. Quinine: An anti-malarial drug from the bark of the cinchona tree. Quinidine: An anti-arrhythmic drug also from the cinchona tree. Atropine: An anticholinergic drug from deadly nightshade (Atropa belladonna). Scopolamine: Used to treat motion sickness, it is also from deadly nightshade. Digoxin: A cardiac glycoside for heart failure, from the foxglove plant. Vinblastine: A chemotherapy agent from the Madagascar periwinkle. Vincristine: Another chemotherapy agent from the Madagascar periwinkle. Paclitaxel: A chemotherapy drug originally from the Pacific yew tree. Artemisinin: An anti-malarial compound from sweet wormwood. Colchicine: Used for gout, from the autumn crocus. Pilocarpine: A medication for dry mouth and glaucoma, derived from Pilocarpus plants. Ephedrine and pseudoephedrine: Decongestants based on compounds from the Ephedra sinica plant. Capsaicin: A topical pain reliever from chili peppers. Caffeine: A stimulant from coffee beans, tea leaves, and kola nuts. Theophylline: A bronchodilator from tea leaves. Curare (Tubocurarine): A muscle relaxant used in surgery, from various plants. Galanthamine: Treats Alzheimer's disease, from the common snowdrop. Reserpine: An antipsychotic and antihypertensive, from the snakeroot plant. Physostigmine: An anticholinesterase inhibitor, from the Calabar bean. Berberine: An antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory, from various plants like goldenseal. Ergometrine: Induces uterine contractions, from the ergot fungus (Claviceps purpurea). Danthron: A laxative from Cassia species. Crofelemer: Treats HIV-associated diarrhea, from the dragon's blood tree. Podophyllotoxin: A compound for treating warts, from the Mayapple plant. Emetine: An emetic, from the ipecac plant. Camptothecin: An anticancer drug, from the Chinese happy tree. Drugs derived from fungi Penicillin: The first widely used antibiotic, discovered from Penicillium mold. Cephalosporins: A class of antibiotics from Cephalosporium mold. Lovastatin: A cholesterol-lowering statin from Aspergillus terreus fungus. Cyclosporine: An immunosuppressant from the fungus Tolypocladium inflatum. Mycophenolic acid: A powerful immunosuppressant from Penicillium brevicompactum mold. Griseofulvin: An antifungal drug from Penicillium species. Micafungin: An antifungal drug from the fungus Coleophoma empetri. Ergotamine: A vasoconstrictor for migraines, from the ergot fungus. Fingolimod: An immunomodulator for multiple sclerosis, derived from a fungus. Drugs derived from other natural sources Heparin: An anticoagulant derived from animal tissues (e.g., pig intestines, cow lungs). Insulin: Originally sourced from animal pancreases before being produced synthetically. Thyroxine: A hormone replacement derived from animal thyroid glands. Urokinase: A thrombolytic enzyme from human urine. Botulinum toxin (Botox): A neurotoxin from the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. Anacaulase: A compound from pineapple plants that treats thermal burns. Omega-3 fatty acids: Derived from fish oil and used to treat hypertriglyceridemia. Estetrol: A hormone based on a compound from the urine of pregnant women. Hirudin: A natural anticoagulant from the salivary glands of leeches. Conotoxin: A potent painkiller derived from cone snails. Synthetic versions of naturally based compounds Opiates: Fentanyl, oxycodone, and other powerful pain relievers are semi-synthetic or fully synthetic opioids based on the natural morphine structure. Statins: Many cholesterol-lowering drugs like atorvastatin are synthetically produced based on the fungal compound lovastatin. Cannabinoids: Dronabinol (synthetic THC) and Nabiximols (synthetic cannabis extract) are based on compounds from the Cannabis sativa plant. Ergot alkaloids: Lisuride and other medications are synthetically derived from the ergot fungus for conditions like Parkinson's disease. Amphetamines and methamphetamines: Stimulants based on the structure of ephedrine from the Ephedra plant.
  10. You better hurry up and produce more drivel.... you've fallen behind RP in the race to the bottom of the human race barrel. You two create the trashiest feedback loop.
  11. real story is probably .... poor training, or unqualified staff At 71 I opened a new Krungsri account and staff completely set up my banking app, and added my photo for facial recognition required for larger transfers. This was at CM in Airport mall.
  12. I would seek a new service elsewhere before covering the cable expense that 3BB incurs to supply service to the village. From your description it seems that other 3BB customers are using the same cable that provides your connection.
  13. I prefer an alternative adjective ... there are some prolific posters that produce decent posts. I would express it as Vacuous AseanNow posters.
  14. We'd do better by just consulting the Magic 8 Ball rather than someone who perseverates over 19th Century medical theories and believes any quacks that castigate Big Pharma, the white coats, government health agencies, Bill Gates.... etc... . I think the original Magic 8 Ball may be hard to find now. Thankfully someone put a version online: https://magic-8ball.com/
  15. The Darwin award trophy factory is hiring... a bumper crop this year!
  16. He's too busy driving around looking for another dead bear to put in Central Park, or maybe he's back on heroin.
  17. If you're interested in filing your own US taxes there is a donation ware Excel spreadsheet that makes it pretty easy to do all the computations. It does not guide or advise you... but if you don't have any complicated investments/partnerships/etc... it is very useful. The creator puts in a lot of effort every year to keep it accurate as tax laws change. https://sites.google.com/view/incometaxspreadsheet/home I use that spreadsheet every year and then I file using OLT free online filing for my US taxes. I have not resided in Canada for decades so I don't file taxes there and cannot offer any advice. For Thai taxes... if you're not a resident for more than 180 days in 2025... you are not subject to Thai taxes for 2025.
  18. It definitely can reproduce. It just needs a little help.... kinda like the people who utilize IVF to have children. There would be no evolution of viruses without reproduction. Practically everyone that can tie their shoes know that viruses do exist..... why don't you rejoin the functioning segment of the human race?
  19. Are you really that incompetent in logic? You claim we're shooting the 'messenger'.... LOL.... we're shooting the message's author..... see what I did there? LOL You anti-vaxxers must be descended from parrots.... you hear a soundbite that stimulates you and off you go..... endlessly parroting it anywhere and everywhere.
  20. LOL..... you're barking up the wrong tree. Do you know that PokerGuys are not perfect at knowing who's lying but they are really, really good at detecting male bovine excrement.
  21. It's really, really blindingly obvious you have no idea about science and how the it is continually pushed forward through hard work and discussion. But... on the upside.... you never take your foot off the gas despite driving the wrong way on the information highway.
  22. You're kidding, right? Just the presence of so-called 'Health Authorities' is cause for celebration amongst the anti-vaxxers? LOL talk about desperation. No names for these 'Authorities'? your post is barely a whisper of smoke.... no fuel on your fire!
  23. In July '24 I opened an account with Krungsri in CM Airport mall. I provided passport, certificate of residency from Imm. and my Thai Tax ID card. I don't remember them asking for anything else. They set everything up for their savings account with better interest. They also set it up so I don't pay the withholding tax. All done on first visit. I chose Krungsri because I knew they were the only Thai bank still doing fee free 'cash advance' on foreign debit cards. Even though my debit card issuer refunds the ATM fees, I prefer getting cash advance at the teller because I can get up to 150K ฿ per transfer plus they will do at least two transfers at the same visit. I don't show monthly transfers for my extension (embassy letter 2023-5) so I didn't require documentation for Imm.
  24. To summarize ... some Aussie fella, heard something about maybe some organization somewhere that represents 'many' people concerned about COVID vaccines. The organization in question has zero footprint in Google... must have just been freshly imagined.
  25. Dear me... post after post consisting of only fetid opinion based on 19th century thought..... Your peephole perspective of the real universe has created a simpleton's interpretation.
