thailand49 replied to Hal65's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
As noted I made an appointment in September for a renewal of my passport at US Embassy in Bangkok. It had to be mailed back I purchased an envelope for 100 baht just outside the citizen service went back in handed it back given receipt noted 3 weeks, less than two I got an email notifying it is being sent out that's a me day it arrived. Unless there is a backlog reason 11 weeks? I also noted need letter for transfer of stamps to new passport told standard. -

Jomtien - Non Imm O 800k - Extension
thailand49 replied to scubascuba3's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
This is what I've done over Five years now for Jomtien just Renewed end of January. I go to Bangkok Bank at 3pm, make a deposit once recorded I ask for the letter 100baht, I get a receipt for that hundred baht had a date and time but I've never had to use it. My theory is 24 hours from the time I obtain the letter and time applying for the extension which is always the next morning. I'm usually the first 3, I've never been questioned about the letter Based on the time I'm applying. -
Time will tell! It will most likely go the waste side of the same No Parking on Soi Buakhao in front of Tree Town.????

Not sure how correct that is? My parents are Buddhists although not Thai, Chinese all show emotions and they believe in Karma and Reincarnation. ???? -
Marriage is a two way street, this type of behavior by any party is unacceptable " none of your business " I suggest she wake up and smell the coffee and start to protect herself first and foremost the bank account. Next time he leaves pack all his things set it at the door outside change the lock get a good lawyer make the decision for him.

Several years ago in the Bangkok Post one of the heads of DLT, stated there is nothing wrong with the designs of their roads. Then you got head of police with this type of thinking which actually exist throughout their leadership. There was an accident 10 years ago a Porsche driver 120 km/h went down a Soi, tops 50 would have been unsafe a girl 16 step off the curb struck cut in half there were question of course about the speed the head of police had no problem with it because the technology of vehicle today are better. You look at some of these accident in Thailand not in my live time can a car be build here or anywhere that would prevent such negligence driving habits. Look at the damage here, truck crosses the center, most likely we'll above any speed limits the truck following assume pedal to the metal not looking ahead enough. I've driven nearly all corners of Thailand roads regardless of the poor designs if taught the basics one can still navigate safely. The best thing for this country is to scrape the whole system and start new with an outsider in charge.

What convince for the sake of clarity article are always written poorly. Who else involve? The motorbike rider going the wrong way took off lift her for dead. We can always say it wasnt written well things were left reason so we assume no clarity so how is it so clear and convincing to you but to other it isn't?

I will be the first to admit this would not be a place easy to work. Nevertheless, I would think the job based in Thailand one is well compensated compare to others like 7/11, KFC, especially if no one is forcing you to do it. That being said it is a job dealing with people I would imagine whoever is in charge don't endorse rude behavior from working regardless if we are guest. I recently was down in January Jomtien the behavior of three individuals one young man who man's the front information counter, the so call volunteer Guard at the door their attitude behavior, crosses the line of rude to abusive towards everyone. It can't be missed by anyone in charge it stands out and gets worse as the day goes on. Then you got the official at window two never seen a person so unhappy with their position he has the attitude and look as if he hates the world and his job. If the goal is to take care being greeted at the door by the two isn't going to meet the standard nor will the guy taking application for entry is at all welcoming when applying.

Troll? I was just kind of testing and teaching a theory on you? I know you wont see this but a bit of clarification to others. My original response you " Sorry you got bitten in part " You requested me to say what I needed which I did, response you didn't like it. My theory, Since you are Thai? and posting generally on a foreign board in the past have been sensitive and defensive towards comments on this board towards Thais which is the majority. You ask for criticism basically but can't take it that is the crust of what the conversation is all about that is really funny coming from a teacher who suppose to teach?

Yes I did notice maybe you should just stick to responding to that advice. You ask me to air it out so I did exactly as instructed now your a bit sensitive to it you want to pick and chose might want to go to page one and count your responses to none medical responses. Sounds like it isn't your dog the only one biting that small scratch worked it way through the blood stream fast?

what I do know comes from your own mouth! Your dog isn't trained very well which let it out in general so typical of a Thai owning dogs here. You in the right club and country! Just glad it wasn't Pit bull! LOL
