  1. And plenty losing on it too. Check bangkok post for one scam example. Some were even banned from Facebook!! Enough said. Anyway, each to their own.
  2. Well said The OP is very very aggressively pushy on this subject. So, why has BOT warned people off bitcoin.
  3. Just click on " forgot password" They will send you a reset link. Worked for me. Have a look back at my post.
  4. Correct. But amazingly mine arrived immediately after I pressed send. Opened email ....clicked on link and hey presto. Must have tried dozens of times before. And then I saw your post at 1930 stating successful log on 4 times and tried again. Let me know how it goes.
  5. Just a heads up on copy and paste. My password began with [....which did not copy and paste along with the whole password. Took me a few tries until I realised to include the [ enter it manually and it worked.
  6. Nope. I just picked my own.....added to my list of sites etc and passwords records. Yep...not kept on computer or phone for safety.
  7. Me too. Sent password change request. Received it within seconds. Changed password and logged in. NB: It would seem that they do not confirm that the password was changed successfully. After I changed the password, the page just refreshed with log in details.
  8. Depends on your keyboard type as to where they are situated. In some cases there are 2 symbols on some keys. The top one of the symbols can be accessed by holding the shift key and pressing the key with the symbol. If the symbol you want is on a key with two symbols and you want the lower symbol, just press the key without pressing the shift key. Hope that helps
  9. If you look at the bottom left cursor on this keyboard of an android phone, you will see the characters symbol. If you press this once you will find a lot of symbols. If you press it again, it will show as 1/2, you will then find even more including the " |" sign. Enjoy????????
  10. You will find " |" on your list of characters along with (,* ^☆》 etc. When I entered my password, it began with [. I thought this was a bracket to enclose the password. After several attempts I put this [ as the first symbol in front of my password and it worked. Hope that helps.
  11. Sent msg " forgot password" received an email stating " request received to change password"......"click on link below. I did that and it brings up " page not found. Somewhat misleading to apply for password change to receive a page not found when clicking their link. And, the reason I wish to change my password is because of the jumbled one they send you originally.
  12. Are you copying and pasting your email address into the relevant boxes, rather than actually typing them in?
  13. Just to add my 2 cents. I use my Thai phone number and it works every time. Not disputing other comments on here, but don't understand why some people are using phone numbers from their home country. Perhaps they might be able to go into settings and profile, and change phone numbers.
  14. Ouch! Seems unfair compared to uk sterling to Thai baht.
  15. Don't know where you get those figures from. And it all depends on the amount you are sending. If I send £1000 to my Thai bank through wise, using online banking to send money from my UK bank to wise, it costs me around £5.00 by wise to move the money to Thailand.
  16. Correction: it is also more expensive when using debit or credit cards, than the banking online transfer system.
  17. Don't use a credit card. Do a manual bank transfer (online). It is also more expensive than using debit or credit cards. Your bank will charge you for using these methods, as opposed to transferring money to wise by the manual method online banking transfer. The only time I receive an OTP is when I log onto my computer to use wise, as opposed to my usual method of using my phone. Nb: it is standard practice for credit card companies to sometimes send the cc holder an OTP to verify the payment.
  18. @Yellowtail Tescos have 1 litre bottles from Carplan....forget the price but around 90 to 100 baht, if memory serves me right.
  19. Yep....last time I went. But that was in April. May have been taken down by now. I am sure any CM members who have uptodate info, will advise. A few years ago or more the Male Front desk Sgt with the Mike, showed us all the new plasticised card about 4x6 with Tm 30 instructions.....if you leave your home and travel to another city anywhere in Thailand, and even within your province for any reason for ANY period of time, you must report to the city/Town main police office. And when you return to Chiang Mai City you must complete TM 30 within 24 hours....blah blah blah. Absolute nonsense that I'm sure no one bothered with. Fancy travelling for 20 kms or so for a day out and going through all that!!
  20. Very good point! Our immigration office in CM have just accepted all my paperwork and never commented. Next time I will keep 90 day and TM separate and see what transpires.
  21. Thank you. I have always renewed mine. And attached a copy to my annual renewal. I will continue to have a copy in my backup file, just in case. In all my years here, never had to argue/contest paperwork requirements. Guess I have been lucky or just had all my ducks in a row. ????
