  1. I thought i read here the other day that there was an increase of 66% from the previous year.
  2. the coffee maker Keurig uses K-cups. these that you see in the store are Nesspreeso or dolce gusto capsules , not compatible with Keurig. as the nesspresso capsules are not compatible with the dolce gusto machines, it confused me at first as I am also shopping for one, decided on a Dolce Gusto machine as there is more variety.
  3. look on Shoppee, they have a couple brands , K-cup starbucks, Peets... but really not much to choose from. why not buy a Dolce Gusto machine ? or if you want only black coffee a Nespresso machine https://shopee.co.th/Coffeeนำเข้าจากสหรัฐPeetsหนังพระเจ้าแคปซูลกาแฟK-CUPดิกสันKCUPอเมริกันสร้างซุปเปอร์สตาร์Peet-39-s-i.418061920.13007021787?sp_atk=3e288986-aa63-4281-9d9b-a3308457ce85

  7. I found what i have read about it.........did this happen ? Starting December 24, the Nong Khai border checkpoint will be opened with special protocols in order to prevent the transmission of Covid-19. The opening will mark the first land border to operate using the Test & Go entry scheme that only requires fully vaccinated travellers entering to take an RT-PCR Covid-19 test and wait for the negative results before being allowed to travel freely throughout all of Thailand. Other land borders are expected to follow suit with Thailand intending to open all international land borders on January 1 including Ubon Ratchathani, Nakhon Phanom, and Mukdahan, all along Thailand’s border with Laos.
  8. isn't the laos land border open ? wasn't it suppose to open January 1st. ? any info appreciated
  9. hmm... my wife just renewed her license, took the test online and the next morning went to the DLT showed them the a photo of completion on her phone, took the color test .... received her license. Easy. but ... it's now 505. Baht for the license

  11. Called a septic tank in USA. never heard the word poo used until i went to China. and no one uses that word in Thailand. most likely a word used by old people
  12. but .... what size concrete rings and how many ? i think mine are 4 rings deep,
  13. using your phone to pay for anything anywhere is normal practice in China, never need cash while i am there,
  14. before the border closure there would be vans full of Burmese coming across to shop at Robinsons, ect... you would also on occasion see big trucks loaded with Rolls Royce and other luxury cars crossing into Myanmar.
  15. Just go and experience it first hand. Then you will be convinced it is fact. All these self serving NGOs in Maesot are a joke, competing , criticizing, each other , just for the donations and of course Money. Get off your chair and go and see ! Everyone involved knows how to play their part for the piece of the pie. I am not joking. you will change your tune, i am positive. the majority of these refugees are fake.
  16. I live maybe 20 km from the Umpien mai "camp" they have always come and go running away to where i live. setting up business , working. our bragging how their family will be relocated to the USA but they will hide out in the village i live in until they are notified then sneak back into the "camp". a very long time ago it was nice where i live but for the last 20 odd years as soon as its dark everyone in the village goes home and locks their door. so unsafe with all these "refugees" running loose. and the one who wish to live and work in my village are under the "protection" of the police. as long as they each pay 100. B a month, and 100.b a day if they choose to work. big money for the police as there are thousands of them living in the village where i live. I really hate it as do most of the villagers, but..... the police are in control. if you don't believe me you are welcome to come see for yourself. KM 48 heding towards Umphang
  17. what happened to the closing down of these "camps" ? Seriously, I thought the UNHCR and NGOS were pulling out . wasn't it sometime last year? some have lived there upwards of what 30 years ? how can they be classified as refugees ? this should be the last straw , Thailand has tolerated this far to long.
  18. taking advantage of ? each individual have their reasons for applying for a covid extension that is offered by the immigration.
