I have front and rear cameras, I wouldn't drive without them, in my opinion. There are many to choose from. From cheap to expensive. Get one that's hardwired into the car, not the cheap ones that you plug in.

Thank you for the detailed directions. This is the office that should be used now ? And are appointments now necessary ? -
More Praise for Immigration
thaitom replied to Muhendis's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
The new Immigration office ? Are you referring to the one on the 3rd. Floor of the Provincial building ? -
Did someone actually ask you for it ? I have brought the fbi card to just the regular police station, they were happy to do it for free, just bring them some fruit or snacks. I have done it on more than one occasion at different police stations for use in other Countries.

Going rate for positive result is 30,000. To be released. Here in Mae sot land. No charge to be tested. Usually a field test, even the drug "dealers" just get an option, pay close to 100,000. or get about 6 years in jail.

If I originally entered Thailand on a visa exempt, Then at one point did a 60-day extension visiting wife, then many covid extensions. Now have changed from all that to a Non-B 90 visas for work. Which I can't extend. The big question is, am I eligible now to request a 60-day extension for visiting wife ? Thank you for any information.

None, This is the first time applying for a job in Thailand. I was unable to get another job in China because I was getting near the age of 60, so I thought I would give Thailand a try, I turned 60 in Jan. and The HR office applied in Feb. I am just inquiring if anyone else has had a similar experience.

Now I am hungry for Lasagna, Thanks a lot !

Kurusapa, denied application.
-
Yes, that is also what I have read. I gave all the authenticated, legalized documents to the HR dept. of the School when I was 59, But they didn't apply until after I became 60 last month, I was denied a teaching permit.

Could anyone say for certain if there is an upper age restriction on issuing a teaching waiver (permit) for working at a Government School ?

What is needed for diploma verification?
thaitom replied to cdemundo's topic in Teaching in Thailand Forum
This may be an older post. I just wanted to add that I did all that, 1. Authentication at state dept. @. Authentication at dept. of state 3. Legalization at the Thai Embassy in DC. I obtained my 3 month non-b visa in Thailand (changed from visa exempt). Applied for a teacher's waiver and was denied, so no work permit. Reason for denial given … the school is non-accredited, meaning it is not on their list. From what I have read, Thailand uses the world almanac for US schools. I have been teaching for close to 17 years in Asia, and this was the first time I thought I would give Thailand a try. I have worked in Taiwan, South Korea and China, never had a problem like this before. -

Where to get my Thai Vaccine Cert document?

Maybe a screenshot ? Go to where you got vaccinated ask for a certificate, that's what i did. -
This is exactly what I am wanting to read about. All I am searching for, so I can make an informed choice, because it all just comes down to our personal choice , Geez, I just want to make the right choice for my daughter. Being a parent is not an easy job.
-
I guess i am just confused when I read about the general vaccines protocols for testing, and the Emergency use authorization approvals for the covid vaccines lacking the same testing procedures.
-
I was as a child, and my daughter has all her inoculations, I have taken three covid vaccinations, I am just concerned as any parent is about the doing the right thing health wise with these covid vaccines which are not going through the same years long testing as the other general vaccines. I am leaning on waiting it out and seeing what reactions the other children may have from taking it and what other vaccine developments may be had in the near future.

I am still undecided after reading from different sources including opinions from this forum as to how safe it is to vaccinate my 7 year old child. Including reading from the CDC website on the safety and vaccine process . Then i read this from the CDC …. “Before a vaccine is ever given to people, FDA oversees extensive lab testing of the vaccine that can take several years to make sure it is safe and effective. After the lab, testing in people begins, and it can take several more years before the clinical studies are complete and the vaccine is licensed.” This is simply a untrue statement as far as this covid vaccine is concerned. I am still needing convincing hopefully from other parents as to what is the right thing to do. Be safe (because im told it is) and vaccinate her or …….

And again..... Why and what does it have to do with Thailand ? Why should Thailand have to do anything ? All in the name of human rights ? It's Myanmar's problem, not Thailand's. Why does Thailand have to be involved forcefully ? Oh, that's right, human rights have no boundaries. So the next time I visit Immigration office I should claim human rights and tell them to back off and let me live where I want with no restrictions.
