  1. Did the BYD factory 🏭 open on July 4th?
  2. 4.7% is now "a couple of precentage"? The ginger Aussie has now also been exposed to precentage debilitating electromagnetic radiation.
  3. Currently about 1% of registered cars in Thailand 🇹🇭 are EVs, while the other 99% are ICEs, including hybrids. Are these "everyone" in the room with us now?
  4. Welcome to the Chinese way of doing business. If the customers ain't kicking and screaming after a sale, the Chinese feel they have left money on the table. BYD knows exactly what they are doing and don't give a damn about Thai buyers.
  5. Unbroken. Fantastic book.
  6. Could be. The autolife numbers are actually registrations and not just sales numbers. Ignoring January, the D-segment is almost split 50/50 between ICE and EV's, which is also what we see on the road in Bangkok.
  7. We really need our friend with the master degree from a kindergarten to teach autolife precentage calculus. The Honda Accord did very impressive on 3rd place with 122.4% market share. 😊 😃 😀 😄 😁.
  8. To no surprise a few electromagnetic fried souls are confused how precentage can add up to 106%. It is of course a bit of play on words, but let me explain. The past 4 months, the registrations were 90% ICE and 10% EV. Who wants an ICE vehicle? 90% who bought one, but just like @Pib, half of EV buyers probably already have an ICE and wants an EV as a new toy or second vehicle, hence 90% + 5% = 95% wants an ICE. Similar, just fewer, some ICE buyers could have an EV and buy an ICE for longer trips, hence the 11% wants an EV.
  9. The petroleum industry is firing on 100% of the Cylinders. Funny how you were opposing month on month comparison back in February when registrations dropped from 20.5% to 7.4%. The cherry 🍒 harvest is getting ever more desperate when port's are filling up with unsold EVs even as manufacturers are rolling out new discounts. Soon you will have to add some hawk tuah.
  10. The EV fraction was falling in May, but mostly flat around 10%. 95% ICE tell a everlasting love ❤️ story.
  11. Bases on February-May's registration data, 11% of Thais want an EV while 95% of Thais want an ICE vehicle.
  12. Central World 🌎. 448572807_1017292003309836_2459180589737739160_n.mp4
  13. Did G-man drive his ute into the sunset 🌇 of knowledge and discovered that 92% of Australians don't want an EV?
  14. That is a fair and valid argument, but the auto manufacturers did what they were told through tax incentives and build hybrids. We had hybrids in large numbers here way earlier than Europe. At first some half-hearted models with 1-2 kWh batteries and 10 kw motors, but soon some amazing technology with integrated ICE/ electric transmissions, with 100 kw motors. Yes, maybe I am a bit Nokia sentimental towards the legacy auto makers, I think we are taking a wrong turn and in a decade or so, many will miss the old brands.
  15. Appreciate the list, but it is almost as if Thailand 🇹🇭 has started their own path of zero-dollar auto manufacturing. Solid well established legacy automakers are packing up and leaving and being replaced with lesser valued and less established EV companies. Is this really a smart move for Thailand?
  16. The killing fields of EV manufacturers.
  17. The Atto 3 is doing well after being tested hard on the Thai roads. An9NP6aGUcnSnPu7bWy22IHd9Vp4LIuoHcYAapIq4bD2VpeuJPXX_PrQd7prxvxeK84LPRhmrSb8_E_022GmWEUf.mp4
  18. Looks like we need a new motorcycle battery charging point. An8BpFWxCgHa9DOOMBKoeX8Id_rAeB_8Y4nSIUin5t2dRzDkXhBQIQxfwun-yi3bJWYcKQLFYscSdA_Q1empEXbX.mp4
  19. Real men on their way to Brokeback Mountain.
  20. That is 3 cigars in the last 12 days or the equivalent of 125 EV fires 🔥/billion miles, over twice the ICE fire probability. Hopefully it is just a statistical fluke, if not we run out of EVs.
