  1. Sneaky and misleading headlines. Although the number of foreign investors permitted to invest in Thailand has increased by 17%, to 377, the amount of pledged investment has dropped by about 20%, from about 73.6 billion baht during a seven-month period last year.
  2. Kasikorn allow up to 500,000 baht per transfer, so 100k for Bangkok Bank should be fine.
  3. Odd, I have never been asked about this KR22 form at CW.
  4. Ahh, so it is only a requirement if you have a non-Thai registered marriage, right?
  5. What is a Kror Ror 22? I have done many marriage extensions and only show the original wedding certificate and the wife at CW.
  6. The answer to the question is? Where are you checking these prices?
  7. Where are you checking these prices? I assume online, but these are advertised prices, not actual sales prices and most are way outdated.
  8. Slightly different, and more realistic, timeliness here:
  9. The MRTA source said trial runs will kick off on Tuesday (August 15th) and the concessionaire, the Northern Bangkok Monorail Co Ltd, will carry out free public test runs from September to October. The line should officially start running from November, the source added. https://www.nationthailand.com/thailand/general/40030180
  10. It was rumored that some of the October 6th (1976) protesters that disappeared ended up in a container in the Gulf of Thailand. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/6_October_1976_massacre
  11. This.. Which is still a way cooler arival than Ninoy Aquino got in Manila, although the result was the same.
  12. Maybe stay of the local highways, just in case his private jet does a Malaysian style "landing".
  13. The Bhumjaithai Party has now emerged with 71 seats including 17.75% of the constituency-level seats available while only registering 1.138 million votes nationwide out of 37,522,746 voters in the party list vote or 3% of the vote which is what the pre-election opinion polls were showing.
  14. Part of the problem is, that nobody can compete against the state sponsored industrial agricultural complex of China ????????.
  15. Unfortunately, it is a two way street and a lot of Chinese fruits and vegetables are showing up in Thailand. Pesticide use in China is very unregulated.
  16. VinFast or LoseSlow, that is the $85 billion question? BBC News - VinFast: Vietnam EV maker valued at more than Ford or GM https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-66517549
  17. The orcs are on fire ????. PzATCt9WCd5bT10S.mp4
  18. Dod they make a full refund for all the flights they canceled during Covid?
  19. The interesting part is that it was a LFP battery and not the older and more flammable NMC. I assume your MG also have a LFP battery, which is the safest of the two types.
  20. This is what they voted for.. Under the policy, the 10,000-baht handout would be transferred to the digital wallet of the recipients who can spend the amount at local businesses within a 4-kilometre radius of their registered address. The digital cash handout must be utilised within six months.
  21. You are a bit judgmental this evening. Maybe this MG review will cheer you up:
  22. Interesting....
  23. All that is just lab results or at best driving test under ideal condition. On top of that, you have to take a China-man's word for it. That is not much help if you are standing in a car lot looking at a 5 years old EV with and unknown driving and charging history. The battery could be totally toast or it could be in near 85% mint condition. How to verify either way?
