How about a solar car port on a budget?
ExpatOilWorker replied to Crossy's topic in Alternative/Renewable Energy Forum
You previous mentioned 0.25 Kwh/m2 as a reasonable value for a cloudy day minimum production, but from the sound of the above, some days can even be lower? -
That is a very nice bike, but you are also a very experienced driver. The X-max is more like a real motorcycle than a scooter. Could be my next bike one I have more experience on the Aerox.

To avoid spillage, they usually only top it up with 100 baht of fuel. Would be nice to have a 8-10 l tank, so you could fuel for 200 baht.
-
What year? The only thing I can fault my 2020 Aerox is the smallish 4.6 l fuel tank. The 2021 model now have a 5.5 l tank.

Thai Baht Finally Getting Weaker
ExpatOilWorker replied to Banana7's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
The past 20 days strong run for the baht was a bit premature. The Delta force is with us again so let's aim for 33.5 this time around. -

Mass testing in Koh Tao. 9 cases or maybe a bit more. All restaurants and cafes only serve takeaway until September 19th. -
Like a Christmas present ????. The post office have a 100 baht wrapping service on top of the transportation cost.

As per the title, are anybody using a Z-wave hub? I believe this is the Google hub for a smart home, but there might be other Z-wave hubs on the market.

Tourists return to Thailand’s national parks in droves
ExpatOilWorker replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
24,000 in 10 day or 2,400 daily on average. Hardly record numbers and certainly not news worthy. Khao Yai national psrk had 4,247 daily visitor on average in 2019. -
More COVID cases in Surat Thani?
ExpatOilWorker replied to phetphet's topic in Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, Koh Tao
Mass testing on Koh Tao. Very little official news, but rumors have it 10+, possibly 20+ positive, maybe even more. That is a lot out of a total population of 8,000. -
More COVID cases in Surat Thani?
ExpatOilWorker replied to phetphet's topic in Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, Koh Tao
Not working 100.0000000%, correct. Covid might have been rampant on Koh Tao long time ago without the restrictions. The island have been virtually Covid free for many months, so not a bad run for limited restrictions. The latest spell include a captain and the crew of the night ferry. A banking manager from a bank with the capital city's name in it and apparently a lot of migrant workers. -

Sadly Covid has reached the shores of Koh Tao. Could very well be more than the official 7 cases, but official information is scarce. -
Solar powered garden lights
ExpatOilWorker replied to jayboy's topic in Alternative/Renewable Energy Forum
I will take your offer an learn from your experience with so many lights. I have been looking for a solar lamp to illuminate a house sign. Basically it should come on at sunset and stay on throughout the night. It should give off a decent amount of light, not just the faint hollow glow smaller solar lights often give. Similar is shape to the below.
