  1. Happy face, right? Since it is Chulalongkorn day Monday, I will give online a second chance. I can always be 7 days late when reporting in person.
  2. Submitted the usual info and got this: Your application for "STAYING LONGER THAN 90 DAYS" has been rejected. The informations are invalid or imcomplete
  3. Is 90 days reporting still at MTT or is it back at CW again?
  4. The real reason for Putin's visit, is so that he can meet Xi. Now that Xi has that pesky thing of getting rubber stamp elected out of the way, they can get back to business of demolished the old world order.

  7. I was once on 4 days overstay and had the 2,000 baht ready in my shirt pocket, but the FEMALE IO was just not focused enough to count the days correctly. She never even saw I were on overstay and simply just stamped me out.

  10. 1. Russia can now justify using tactical nuclear weapons in the annexed regions. They drop not just 1, but 2, 3 or more 1 kT bombs, evaporating Kraken and the fighting force of the Ukrainian army. The 300,000 strong Russian mobilization secure the borders to the annexed provinces and the war is essentially over. Now to the scary part. This will pave the way for China to use their nuclear hypersonic carrier killer missiles inside the 9 dash line. The US decide not to play kamikaze carrier with the CCP and the PLA takes Taiwain to please master Xi. Then what, WWIII or another long cold war?
  11. Successful? 2 years again the debt was only 1.1 trillion baht. The cumulative debt of Thai teachers, moreover, adds up to 1.1 trillion baht and accounts for 16% of the total public debt in Thailand. Most alarming, another study of teachers in debt found that a whopping 92% admitted that indebtedness caused mental and physical distress, and this distress, in turn, negatively affected the quality of their teaching! https://www.kenan-asia.org/thai-teacher-debt/
  12. Lotus's might be doing well in the province where they dominate the retail market, but my local outlet just closed down, while the next-door Big C is heaving with customers.
  13. Two kind of drafts can be lethal in Russia, military draft and the draft from and open window ????.
  14. NPL is 2.88% at the moment. It was just about 3% in much of 2020/21. The debt memorandum must still be in play, because SM loans are still nearly 7% which is unusual high. In about numbers SM was 400 billion pre-Covid, but now it is 1.1 trillion baht.
  15. I recently visited two different Lotus's supermarkets and both were virtually void of customers. This is in stark contrast to my local Big C which is always busy. Who shops at Lotus's and what do you buy there? I did spot some good offers, mainly tissue paper, but even Central offer similar prices from time to time.
  16. There is a guy in Dubai looking for a job...
  17. Electricity is still dirt cheap here, especially compared to Europe at the moment.
  18. Some reasonable wine deals at Central.
