Bidenβs 'Garbage' Gaffe Could Give Trump a Political Edge
harryviking replied to Social Media's topic in World News
I have heard a lot of strange stuff coming out of Biden's mouth, but this was the dumbest ever!! Calling people "Garbage" is a guaranty that Trump will laugh on his way to the White House!! I suggest they put a tape on his mouth and hide him away for a while! He is definitely not in his right mind these days----ππ« -

Steak should be cooked with garlic melted into butter.
harryviking replied to Gobbler's topic in Western Food in Thailand
I have always always used Rosemary on lamb meat. Recently I have tried just a touch of it on my beefs! Now it is a "rule"! Lol! But just a touch that is.... π And of course, I never buy meat from Australia and NZ (except for a little lamb sometimes) or AU due to they "brag" about how many hundreds of days their cattle has been GRAIN FED!!! I have found a local butcher that get local beef that never eat grains. It would just not be economically wise to do so as the meat would become too expensive for the local Thais. The fat in grain fed beef is loaded with omega 6s. No thanks. Sorry mate...ππ -
Thai Government Strengthens Laws on Pyramid Schemes
harryviking replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
These Pyramid schemes used to be something we saw in Europe decades ago, until it was banned and never seen again. Incredible too see this show up in Thailand, but I guess no one have ever heard about it before. Now-a-days I keep on wondering if we could call the "Bitcoin madness" a kind of the same thing? Lol! Just a thought...π. -
Belgian Man, 68, Dies in Motorcycle Accident in Ubon Ratchathani
harryviking replied to Georgealbert's topic in Isaan News
Too many people, not very experienced on two wheels , should get a taxi or the like when going somewhere! There are TOO many deaths in Thailand due to this problem. Thailand is a specially dangerous place for two wheelers! Take this from a man tat have been 50 years on bikes and decades in Thailand traffic and is still alive and on bikes. I am sorry and sad to see another person die needlessly. RIP. -
Questions about buying second hand bike
harryviking replied to VinnieK's topic in Motorcycles in Thailand
I bought a 2nd hand Kawa two years ago in a different province, and it took me weeks to get the damn licence plate! Someone told me it was possible to do "something" in the province I got it from to speed up the process. I am sorry to say I did not get what that "thing" was. You should investigate it. -
I will say that it is a good thing. I know it is used by many that are fasting regularly and do not eat for a specific number of days. I have done it my self. The butter will not raise your insulin significantly. If any one want to knw more about this, then just to to YouTube and search. π

Facial Recognition to Replace Boarding Passes at Six Thai Airports
harryviking replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Seems like Thailand is heading for a total crash due to a digital madness! Thailand is racing for a situation that will scare off so many people that they will regret ever trying to be the "smartest guy" in the class!! imagine this new system suddenly failing on a busy day at Suvarnabhumi airport! Total chaos!! This will happen no matter how "good" they think the system. For safety reasons, I find this new system STUPID and irresponsible!! -

Lol! I am safe, so no worries here. When it comes to "back to normal again, I am not that into everything to be sure what that could be. Every nation should maybe come up with some kind of Gold backed currency. The FIAT money will not work. I am also not so sure that The Central banks should be allowed to exist any more! I am sure there are more professional people here that can give us a clue of what might be the answer. Until then, I just enjoy life and ride my bikes!! π Be well!

And so the exodus of quality expats begins. This time it's personal
harryviking replied to Galong's topic in Phuket
Lol! Funny---- -
WE should all be aware of the enormous debt in the world and that sooner or later, I guess sooner, there might come a day of judgement and it all has to be reset! That is when things really might get out of hand for all of us. I have at least tried to get ahead of this by collecting gold for a while. That, I guess, might last until things get back to normal again.......I hope....ππ

And so the exodus of quality expats begins. This time it's personal
harryviking replied to Galong's topic in Phuket
Phuket has been a "no go" zone for me for a decade! Who in their right mind would go there now. "Little Russia" and fraud "en masse" is the norm! I guess Chinese gangsters will blend in as well soon if not already....
