39k for the exhaust (TIS emblem) and 28k for the rear sets. I like the Tsukigi idea. Thanks.

Congratz on your purchase Loserlazer.
Was there a black CBR on display? as that's the one I'd get. Also does the exhaust look as bad as the pictures? I really don't understand why they couldn't make it a bit more modern looking or at least not chrome.
they have black on display but i am not a big fan of black in sport bikes.
Exhaust looks fine man. It does not look horrible. Especially the black tip gives it a quality feeling still it will the first to be changed with a nice aftermarket pipe
right away as i do not like chrome on my bike.
And, i liked the real metal plate engine protector. I though that it will be plastic but no it is real metal and looks really good.
What i liked most of cbr500 is it is a super compact bike. It looks smaller than cbr250 man! especially once sit on it as rhe headlight assembly and fairings there are less exagerrated. You will understand me once you sit down on it.
Ninja 650 looks like my horse back home if you compare them. Kawa looks so big wide and high and heavy and has no clip ons:D
And we will get 47hp on rear wheel- 54 crank hp that is making me so pleased.
It will be a super city bike. Happy with my purchase.
I ordered the Moriwaki exhaust and rear sets yesterday. The mirrors on the F look like something off a scooter. Those will have to go too.

The R and F have Dunlop Sportmax Qualifier 2s. The X has Pirellis, but not sure which ones.
-
I was told that the exhaust is quite restrictive. Just changing that ought to add some hp.

Cb500f only red and black?? How about white?
Yes, only red and black for that model.

Congratulations on your new bike. Are you planning on doing any mods? I'm going to change the exhaust, mirrors, and rear sets on mine.

These bikes are only going to be sold at Honda Big Wing Centers. There is Bangkok of course, but there are also branches set to be open in Chiang Mai, Pattaya, Phuket, and Udon Thani.
That is good to know.
Am curious if these bikes will need to be serviced only at a Big Wing Center to remain
on warranty?
Would you happen to know as a dealer will you be allowed to service?
All Honda products are pretty much indestructible so not much to worry
about. But it may prove problematic to upkeep the warranty if Bangkok is the only
option for now. Both for the customer & the single Big Wing Center currently available.
Thanks
I'm not sure how the service and warranty will work. I'll see if I can get some info from Big Wing for you though.

Did they give release date for the cbf and cbr brian
I was the second to order the CBF and was told I would get it on Dec. 11. Both bikes will be available from then on, but there may be a wait depending on how many orders are put in during the show.

Yeah official pric3s
Cbr500 204k

Honda got greedy!
I can see the price list now but cannot download it somehow.
Hope these are for abs then no probs.

Those prices are correct and they are all ABS models. Also, if you take off the 7% Thai sales tax it is pretty close to the prices announced for the U.S. market. The CB 500x won't be released until the Bangkok Bike Fest at the end of January next year though. I decided to put in an order for the black CB 500F instead.
did you by chance see the z800 there? If yes did they have pricing?
I was looking for it in the Kawa section, but didn't see it on display. I didn't ask though, so perhaps I missed it.

Also, we still have a lot of free tickets available here at the shop, if anyone is interested.

I'm heading over for the press day today. I might put in an order for the CB 500X if I can. I'll use it when touring with the wife and use the Fireblade when riding alone. I'll try and get some pics from the show up tomorrow.

What day are you guys making the trip to the motor expo?
Sorry, no organized caravan this year.
-
Those are done by Ride It. We are an authorized dealer and have those fairings for only 4,400. Send me a PM if interested.
Also, here is a link to their website. http://www.rideit.co.th/index.php Thanks.
Brian
Hey Brian,
Thanks, for the reply. I'm defiantly interested in them.
You don't have a better picture then that do you?
It's hard to work out the lines from that picture.
The Ride It site doesn't have that much to offer for a naked bike going from their web page, I can't even see that fairing listed.
Thanks again,
Stefan
I'm sure I have some better pics somewhere. I'll post them shortly. Thanks.
Brian
Sorry, but I haven't had any customers put them on yet and Ride It haven't done a demo bike with them. Here are a couple of pics of the ones I have at the shop though.

I was thinking the same thing. Makes sense to me.^ whoa.
Apparently there's 3 models - CBR500, CB500, and CB500X which is kind of like a small version of the NC700X!
Exciting!!
HFL has the scoop: http://hellforleathe...-cbr500-family/
- 470cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin
- Six-speed manual
- 46.9bhp
- 30lb/ft of torque
- 401lbs (dry)/430lbs (wet)
- 105mph top speed
- 31-inch seat height
- 120/70-17 (front)/160-60-17 (rear)
The article from HLM includes pictures from a photo shot, or promotion video for a new motorcycle, shot in Italia which is not a good sign for indication that the motorcycles will be produced in Thailand. The Italian Honda factory is also capable of producing a new line of motorcycles, according to some yearly figures Honda Italia is only producing below 70% its production capacity, while Honda Thailand is sometimes pushing over the 100% production capacity (or did Honda Thailand opened a new factory we did not hear about?)
Hey Richard maybe its going to be made in Italy AND Thailand

I guess you forgot about the earlier HFL article... they're made in Thailand. Was reported from many other places as well...

Could this be it? Appears to be a commercial shoot.

One of our customers put the full system on his bike. Very nice sound, but really loud too. The prices you mentioned sound about right for Thailand. We actually picked it up in Hong Kong and saved quite a bit though. Best of Luck.Has anyone got this exhaust for there CBR, I have heard it on YouTube sounds good looks great, price I have been quoted is 22500 bht for slip on and 29000 bht for the full system.Brian

They should be able to do one for around 10k. When you get yours, we'll all have to go for a ride.
