h90 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
What did I loose? I am no party member, no party fanboy and I am not Prayuth posting under a Farang name..... I don't even loose much if red or yellow shirts (or new now orange) run amok again. -

It happens that I know some people and I studied without much money. But feel free to google the situation in US...with "tent" cities and trailer parks. In Thailand you neither starve nor the winter hits you. -

History says either another turn at the trough or a change to the much worse (when there are big changes it most of the time get much worse first). I hope Thai people don't want to change themself, with all the problems the average life quality is pretty good here....Even being poor the over all life quality is better than being poor in US/UK/DE...etc -

Is it safe to order something on Aliexpress - experiences ?
h90 replied to moogradod's topic in General Topics
I buy like once a week on Aliexpress: Save: Seller only get the money after delivery, and if something broken, does not work from the beginning Aliexpress is helpful. Had several complains and always got some fair refund without shipping back. Latter warranty: Forget it. Lots of excellent products but also lot of crap...Fake SSDs are famous, fake electronic chips, but real good and honest things. Most small things come without paying import duty. Bigger things like bicycle frame and wheels I paid import duty. Note that 10% import duty is you paying about 30%. Some do "special line" which means no customs. I can only recommend it for small items....I would think twice (or more) before buying some thousands of Dollar item there. -
For me it would scream: Viagra, Valium and Anabolica available

The first talks must have been started long before he died......I clearly remember his speech about them stuck in the mud or a bit still showing out of the water when they are already on the ground as the gulf is so shallow. But there might have been just the discussion on what type. They were discussion refurbished used German submarines first but told they are too expensive.

A few years Cambodia sent rockets and Thailand answered with Artillery on a border dispute. Recently we had an military airplane from Myanmar going over Thailand. The Thai navy is blocking the boats for illegal immigrants. And on the 2011 floods they did an excellent job. In 2011 I asked myself how many modern 6wheel drive trucks they have....all modern and expensive. So I agree they might be over financed. but they are not complete worthless

Well is is not complete unheard of that the promises before the election are nothing after the elections.....
