  1. I don't remember where I read it, but I think the concept is about the purpose of his cameras. If his cameras are installed to see what is going on within and near his property for protection than that is allowed. If he would install a camera with a tele-lens focused only on your property or you, I am pretty sure that would be illegal.
  2. I saw Thai motorcycle taxi riders cutting each other's hair. I guess that would be a cheap option for you.
  3. Her priorities are clear. Unfortunately, there are still too many Thais out there who don't see this.
  4. Great! That will reduce significantly all that stop and go traffic on the way to many schools.
  5. In all countries political parties have different ideas. Luckily there are not too many countries where top candidates are idiots. But America, the land of the free, is obviously different.
  6. I don't say that overcharging doesn't happen in some places. But I am pretty sure it doesn't happen everywhere.
  7. I am pretty sure you can do that, and likely it will be cheap. Or you do it in a private hospital, and depending on the hospital it will still not be expensive. One difference it that in the government hospital you likely will wait for hours, and you better speak and read Thai.
  8. And according to you that is always the same in every clinic and hospital in Thailand? I visited only a few hospitals and a few clinics over the 30 years that I live in Thailand. Maybe you visited hundreds of them or you researched this in detail.
  9. Yes, and also no. If a doctor sees an injury, then I guess he must assume that it might have happened in a dirty environment. And maybe the patient does not tell the doctor the whole truth. If the patient is sure that it happened in a clean environment, and he knows he does tell the truth, then the patient has maybe good reasons not to pay for additional things which are not necessary in his specific case. It is a fact that at least in some Thai hospitals making money is the main objective for the doctors.
  10. I didn't lose the election. I am not American, and I didn't vote. But I am still concerned why 70+ million Americans voted for that serial liar narcistic maniac. And it seems many of them didn't only vote for Trump because they though he is the smaller evil. They actually like him and his politics and his character. And that is definitely very concerning.
  11. What is safer? Using a desktop PC? Or go to the bank?
  12. To be fair, it very seldom looks like that - and I have a similar view when I look now out of the window.
  13. Fox "news" or Breitibart or where does your experience come from? I can assure you there are many sitting at home, not applauding, and thinking why 70+ million people voted for the orange idiot.
  14. For the pollution in Thailand, like everywhere else, there are several reasons. And it's not all the same all over Thailand. In the middle of Bangkok, where I live, the pollution is definitely a big part from the traffic. But it also depends a lot on the weather. I.e. no rain for weeks makes the situation worse.
  15. Who writes something like this? A human? "prioritize national interests" like "putting a man on Mars". For how many Americans is that in the national interest? And “Please can that man be Keir Starmer?” Is there anybody out there who wants that Keir Starmer is like Trump? Really?
  16. And obviously the NSA also doesn't know anything. Yeah, sure... Personally by now I don't care anymore about this data processing. It's almost impossible to avoid that someone somewhere stores and analyzes lots of information about all of us.
  17. Obviously, the police must first check if Ms. Fueanglada is rich or has influential relatives. Further investigations will only proceed or not proceed after this important issue is addressed.
  18. I think most normal people think the transgender issue, DEI, etc. is way over the top in the USA and some other countries. And we are happy that finally something is done against those stupid initiatives and laws in the USA. And in this case Trump is one of the people who does something. Good. What we also should not forget is that many normal people prefer some politics from "the left" and other politics from "the right". Only few people are only left or only right. One big problem, especially in the USA, is the extreme divide between the supporters of the DEMs and the other side of the GOP. And to the outside they all pull in the same direction. But reality is, that people still have individual opinions. Abortion is a good example. Not all GOP supporters are radically or even at all against abortion. And not all DEM supporters want abortion. It would be wonderful if the people and the media would talk about individual preferences and not political party alliances. People could get together about many things. But only if they feel comfortable expressing their own opinions without the pressure that they have to support certain politicians, political parties, media, etc.
  19. Ok, next time I use real cheese. I promise.
  20. And obviously the American credit card companies are not at all interested in our personal data. 555
