As election draws near, dissolution rumors grow

It should be obvious that the party of the fugitive criminal should be dissolved. I guess dissolving them about a day or two before the election is the perfect timing. Please do it.- 165 replies

Thanks, that is what I will do. But maybe some people here have experience with exclusion of pre-existing conditions. I guess some pre-existing conditions are easy to define, i.e. a previously broken leg. But I think diabetes is something which might influence many other conditions. So excluding that is, I guess, not straightforward.

Currently I am covered by a good health insurance which is a group insurance from a company. Sooner or later, I will have to change from that health insurance contract to another individual contract. I am still under 60 and I should be able to find a new health insurance. But I have diabetes (taking tablets twice a day) and obviously I should mention that to the new health insurance. I asked already my current insurance company what will happen if I am not part of the group contract anymore but when I will have an individual contract. They told me (without looking at the details), that they will likely not cover the pre-existing condition, diabetes. Now my question is: what does it mean in real life if they exclude diabetes? If they only don't pay for my doctor visits and medication for diabetes that is acceptable. But let's say I have in the future a heart problem. And then maybe someone has the idea that might be caused or made worse because of the pre-existing diabetes. Does that mean that the health insurance will possibly not cover i.e. a problem with the heart? Are there clear rules what an exception means? Or is that open to interpretation and maybe different from insurance to insurance and case to case? And are you aware of any decent health insurance which would nor exclude pre-existing conditions but maybe charge extra and then include them? I guess we need an expert to answer this. Please no speculations without background knowledge. Thanks.

I hate it when "someone" asks a question and then never returns to the thread... -
Interesting. Do you have any links to support any of that?

What do we know about drone attacks in Russia?
OneMoreFarang replied to Social Media's topic in World News
I just read another article that is seems Ukraine has drones with fixes wings which can fly up to 700km. So in theory it seems to be possible. Does it make sense as an attempt to kill Putin? Not much. But then, maybe it should just be a reminder for Putin and Russians that when you start a war with another country, then don't be surprised if they fight back - and not only on their own territory. -

Putin invades a country with millions of people and then he seems to be surprised if (possibly) some of those people want to retaliate. Strange. -
Don't expect logic! There is no "why?" in Thailand. It just is. And about legally not being married. I remember a guy who was in the same situation. Bit marriage party but no legal registration of the marriage. After a few years they split up. It seems she was able to convince the court that she was married. She showed them lots of picture. And it seems that was good enough for the court. That's what I heard from a normally reliable guy. I didn't see any documents and I can't be sure if it is true.

Maybe the question should be asked slightly differently: How much would you give if you would live with her and her sisters until the end of your life?
-
Are you sure?

Just imagine you would live 10 years longer if you would move to Iran or North Korea or pick whatever you don't like. Would you move?

The important part is this: "off the end of your life" It's one more time for this wonderful quote from Jack Nightingale in Stephen Leather’s Nightmare: Nightingale blew smoke up at the sky. ‘Everybody dies,’ he said. ‘Life is a zero sum game. The best you can do is to enjoy yourself as you go along.’ ‘But smoking shortens your life.’ ‘Maybe. But it only takes the years from the end of your life. Not the beginning or the middle.’ Jenny looked at him, confused. ‘I have absolutely no idea what you mean.’ Nightingale took another drag on his cigarette before continuing. ‘Say I live until I’m seventy-five without smoking. And say I die at seventy if I do smoke. I lose five years. But really, Jenny, what am I going to be doing during those five years? Sitting in a bedsit somewhere watching the football, assuming I’ve enough of a pension to be able to afford Sky Sport?

Thaksin’s tweet about grandchild seen as political gambit

As far as I know many mothers leave their kids with the grandparents in Thailand because the mothers have to work and make money. Many mothers who don't have to worry about money and who care about their children spend a lot of time with the children. Because it is good for the children that the parents take care of them. Too many children grow up without parents who take care of them, with often bad consequences. If anybody wants to have children, then I think they should be able to afford the children and they should take care of them. A career should not be more important than children. And if the children are old enough to go to school, then the mother can still continue with her career. What's the point of having a career and having no time for the kids? If mothers don't want to be mothers, then they shouldn't have kids. -

Yeah, lol, until the moment you have to brake. Then not so lol anymore. If you want to ride on a road where everybody drives "fast" then get a decent bike with decent handling and brakes.
