Thanks for your reply. 16A x 230V = 3,680W That is a LOT of light! Maybe our misunderstanding is just about the word "power". What is in your opinion a "power circuit"? I guess we agree that a heater, with maybe 5kW or 7kW, needs a lot of power and we can call it a power circuit. But how about a fridge? Or a fan? Or a big stereo? All these devices don't need much power.

There are also lots of interesting videos on YouTube and some people who know what they are talking about. This is one interesting video, and the guy has a lot more of the same. Thomas Nagy - YouTube

I used a cheque. The land office had a copy of the cheque, and I actually gave the cheque to the previous owner after I received the title with my name on it. As far as I know a cheque is the usual way to do this kind of business. The cheque has the name of the receiver on it, and it can only be transferred into a bank account by the receiver (showing his ID card or similar). -
A RCBO will only work if all the wires are connected correctly. It detects if the current on L is not the same as the current on N. If N is not installed correctly then this can't/won't work!

That reminds me of that night when I was really unhappy, and I decided to get drunk. I bought a bottle of whisky and almost finished it. Almost. With about one or two drinks left in the bottle my body told me I had enough, and I stopped drinking. The next day I was tired but no headache or hangover. ????

Maybe you should work more with electricity instead of wood... I am not smoking anything. In Germany 1.5sqmm is used in houses for 16A breakers if the cable is not longer than about 17m. If that is good enough for a country with at least a million security rules and regulations then it's good enough for me - even in Thailand.
-
1.5 sqmm is used with 16A breakers since forever. And in lots of tables that is recommended. IMHO 16A and 1.5 sqmm is sufficient from most devices and installations. Any device which needs more power like hobs, heater, etc. are obvious.

As far as I remember there is a difference which "coffee" you drink. I think Espresso is less problem for the stomach compared to regular (filter) coffee. But it's long time ago that I read about that. Now I drink only espresso and I don't have any stomach problems.
-
Some time ago I read on Wikipedia that more than 10 shots Espresso per day might be poisonous. This is why I make sure I don't drink more than that - and 10 is anyhow enough for one day.
-
Mostly I drink 4 to 6 shots espresso per day. But sometimes up to 10. And sometimes none at all. I drink it because I like it. If I don't drink it, then I am maybe a little tired, maybe. I guess it depends on each individual, but in general I think caffeine addiction is overrated. Drink it if you like it and don't drink it if not.

Why not? And which country's beef do you like and why? For me there was a time when I didn't consider Thai beef for steak. I have not much idea about meet in general. Next time my gf wanted to make beef stew I ask at the counter in Foodland which beef they recommend for that. They told me ribeye, and that is what I bought (maybe 400B per kg). And after doing that a few time my gf suggested we should try to use that Thai ribeye meet for steaks. So we tried. I was surprised how good it was. Now we eat Thai ribeye steak regularly. It's good and not expensive.

Does anyone even care about the World Cup this year?

Traffic didn't improve with APEC. Imagine that word cup somewhere here. No! -

I won't watch it this year. And I never watched it in my life. Qatar sounds like a great place for such an event. It is far away so all that traffic won't interrupt my daily life. -

Check the (online) manual! Obviously over times all components get better. Cameras, recorders (computes), cables, etc. I.e. if you had 10 years ago the best available cables then they are maybe still good now and you don't have to replace them. If you/the installed used cheaper cables which were just good enough for the job at that time, then likely they won't be good enough now. I suggest read the manuals. And/or look up the parts online. Or watch YouTube videos about the different components which you have and which you want to have.

If you can afford it, then I would donate about 30k. For 30k they can have a funeral and the usual "funeral party". Not the biggest party ever but good enough for "normal people". If the family thinks they need a bigger party, then they can obviously add more of their own cash for that. I.e. 30 people donating each 1000B would double the above amount. Then the question will be: how much do they want to spend themselves to honor the deceased?

There is no such bus. There was a truck in the morning some time ago. But for a person who has difficulty to walk it is not a good idea to climb up a truck and sit there on the bench. A car or pickup or van are the only options which make sense in this situation - even if they are a lot more expensive than a bus. This is why I added a little more information so that people understand the situation.

I would ask in shops which repair notebooks. And I wouldn't be surprised if they put everything in the ordinary trash...- 1 reply
